I am not salty, I just dislike some blazer fans who wanna sit here and say trade dame and cj. It is so ridiculous. Does anybody see the supporting cast they have? it's kinda shit. Whatever though, people gonna people
Their supporting cast includes the near triple double Plumlee and a 12/15 shooting night Crabbe.

It was a good game...when you look at the score you forget it was a double OT score..not like we gave up 125 in regulation

Aside from the team playing with a little more energy on defense (they were still shitty at 20th in the league) and catching other teams unaware? I don't know, maybe it was partly a fluke, and what we're seeing now is a regression to the mean. Plus it's not even really about winning or losing an overtime game, those are statistically going to be tossups, but look at the numbers and efficiency of Rackson and Caldwell-Pope? It's like that almost every night, with opposing backcourts putting up big numbers against CJ and Damian.

You say, "trade for a rim protector." Who? and for which players? Let's say we swap out Plumlee for a guy like Tyson Chandler (an average defender now). Is he going to cover up all of their shortcomings? Probably not. Guards are killing us on the perimeter not at the rim (mostly).

No it's not, how many times has a backcourt lit us up for 57+ points? 3 or 4 times maybe?

Crabbe for Noel. Simple. I think somebody that protects the rim will be huge to our team. We have an undersized center who isn't good defensively but paired at pf with a guy like Noel I think would work great. Shots would actually be affected at the rim. No easy buckets in the paint. That's a dramatic change in my opinion.

It's rare for Crabbe to have these nights. Plumlee has been solid all season. Everybody else?

We could trade for some players that could change this team in ways. Meyers does nothing to help this team. Unfortunately Ed davis has regressed, you can trade him. Move Crabbe. We have picks. Or hold off and use your picks this off season.

Crabbe is coming on strong. This was his sixth straight game in double figures. This team is getting better. Stay tuned. We won't win them all.

What kind of abitrary cut-off line is "57+" points? Guards and wings are torching this team and it happens a lot.

Actually, we are 8th and doing better than last year's team that made it to second round.

I'm talking about the actual team at the end of the year - not January 8th, 2017 - where standings don't matter.

You said this happens almost every night. Tonight, Reggie and KCP scored 57 points. How often has that or more happened to us?

Here are my positives for the night. Crabbe played great, giving hope that he either has some trade value or can be a good replacement if we traded CJ. (I personally would be OK with trading Lillard but I don't think that would ever happen). Orlando lost again, to the Lakers; making it more likely Ibaka will want out of Orlando. Leonard was 2 of 4 on threes; maybe some GM will think "if we just limit him to threes, he will be OK".

If you want an impact trade then you've got to be willing to give up something other teams want. You say our supporting cast is "shit." Well, who is the highly coveted player on this roster outside of CJ and Damian?

We're eighth now, the hardest part of our schedule is done. We've been better now that everyone's back from injuries. Our record is better than last year's. What's to worry about?

You are assuming I'm worried.

Let me tell you, it's a much different feeling.

You're such a fucking pedant.

I said "It's like that almost every night, with opposing backcourts putting up big numbers against CJ and Damian." It may not always be "57" points, but guys shoot a high percentage and put up more than their season averages with regularity against these two.

To make an impact trade doesn't always require your best players. I am not talking about another star here, I am talking Nerlens. We don't have another highly coveted player on the roster so I don't know where you are going with that because I basically just said that by saying our supporting cast is shit. Crabbe has some value right now though. Gotta assume Meyers always does, the league loves a 7 footer that can shoot threes

It must happen exactly, or it hasnt happened at all.

*swings robot arms*

That's simply not true. Make it 50 if you want, it's not true.
