• Saturday marks the first of two regular season matchups between the Trail Blazers and Pistons in 2016-17.
• Detroit won both of its games against Portland in 2015-16, marking the Pistons first regular season sweep over the Trail Blazers since the 2005-06 season (2-0).
• The Pistons scored at least 120 points in both games against Portland last season, after failing to reach that mark in any of their past 41 games vs. the Trail Blazers (120, 3/31/93).
• Detroit’s 120-103 win in Portland last season on Nov. 8 marked the Pistons first win at the Moda Center in their past eight tries (Last win: 3/14/07).
• In that Nov. 8 game, Detroit outscored Portland by 30 points in the fourth quarter (41-11) en route to a 120-103 victory.
• Damian Lillard has scored at least 20 points in five of his past six games against Detroit (three straight). Lillard averaged a team-best 26.0 points on 43.2% shooting in two games vs. Detroit in 2015-16.
• In Portland’s most recent game against Detroit on March 6, CJ McCollum scored 22 points on 9-of-15 shooting (2-4 3-PT). McCollum averaged 20.0 points on 53.1% shooting in two games vs. the Pistons last season.
• Reggie Jackson scored a career-high 40 points at Portland on Nov. 8, 26 of which came in the fourth quarter on 10-of-11 shooting (2-2 3-PT).
• Reggie Jackson scored at least 30 points in both of his games against the Trail Blazers last season, after scoring no more than 21 points in any of his first 12 career games vs. Portland.
• Andre Drummond has recorded six consecutive double-doubles against the Trail Blazers, and is averaging 16.3 points and 17.8 rebounds during that six-game stretch.
• Andre Drummond hauled in 27 rebounds in his last appearance at the Moda Center on Nov. 8, 2015. That represents his second-highest rebounding total in his career (29, 11/3/15 vs. Ind.).
• CONNECTION: Detroit forward Tobias Harris was teammates with Maurice Harkless and Shabazz Napier during his time with Orlando.
