Years down the line, when it's all said and done, should the Blazers retire Aldridge's jersey?

Did I misspell great win?

Yes, actually you did. You spelled it g-o-o-d:

Thank God they were missing half their roster. Good win

But the preceding sentence made your "enthusiasm" seem less than sincere, like you were being sarcastic, or at the very least, damning with faint praise.

And, you still haven't answered the question: why do you follow the team?

Here's another one for you: why do you make excuses when the team wins (did the refs cost the other team the game, thank god the other team was missing half their roster, etc.)?

You seem incapable of enjoying the wins and determined to mock and ridicule those who do.

This is....kinda interesting...

C.J. McCollum's jumper with five seconds remaining gave the Blazers a 111-110 win over the Spurs on Sunday. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, San Antonio had won 143 of its previous 144 games regulation games in which it scored at least 110 points, dating back to March 2011.

I thought that late phantom foul call would sink the game. Fortunately CJ & defense won it. Won't need to clip my fingernails for a while.

Hey, always said, only need one more point than the other guys.

You didn't answer the question.

I don't follow you. You happened to post in a thread I was reading.

You take more satisfaction in losses than wins, and constantly make excuses when the team wins.

So, answer the question: why do you follow the team?

Get your perception off my ass

We squeezed out a win

If my perception is wrong, please feel free to correct me by answering the question, that I am now asking for the 4th time: Why do you follow the team?

It's a simple, straight forward question. I'm not sure why you refuse to answer it. Without an answer, all we have are perceptions.

BNM

Actually, we didn't win at all; LaMarcus lost SA the game.

(did I do it right?)

Not even close. You forgot to mention that the refs cost the Spurs the game and they were missing half of their roster (while failing to mention we were also missing our best player).

BNM

It was a great win....glad to see ball movement and the extra pass....glad to see Lamarcus choke at the end...really satisfying! Go Blazers! Team win! Beating the Spurs without 50 pts from Dame and CJ is just the ticket....spread the love!

Because it's insulting. I've been a fan forever. LITERALLY went to the first game. You?

I live in Texas and still have access to season tickets, just in case.

Call out the mother fuckers who want to take breaks. I've been here the whole time.

I follow the team because in my mind, I root harder for them than anyone. I follow them because I love the Blazers.

Please go fuck your post, or whatever wont get a Sly edit

Then why do you shit on the team when they play hard and beat one of the best teams in the league? Who was "taking breaks" last night?

Yes, the Spurs were missing Leonard, Parker, Green and Gay, but they had the 4th best record in the league - a better record than CLE, going into the game last night and have done it without Leonard (8 games on a minutes restriction) and Parker (16 games on a minutes restriction). Green is a role player whose 8.6 ppg and PER = 11.5 are easily replaced. And Gay is the guy who has had the reputation his entire career that every time he's traded, the team that trades him gets better.

And, we beat them without our best player - which you failed to mention.

Me, I'm just a fan who cheers for my team to win EVERY game and enjoys EVERY victory. So yeah fuck your post and your non-stop negativity, too.

You did it wrong! You could say "your post can suck you" or some like that. That way it attacks that post and not the poster.

What do people call that, a distinction without a difference?

Did it wrong too! The first half was ok, his negativity is off limits.

Interesting. Maybe a lot of others weren't too when it happened? 🤷

I wasn't (not that I post a lot in the game threads anyway). I needed to be somewhere and was listening to the 4th quarter of the game in my truck while driving down I-5.

Yep. I was at work, or I would have commented on it.

Weird thread. The arrogant Optimism Chauvinists have become the board enforcers.
So you just have a few of them to supplant to pull off your quest for S2 Grand Wazoo....you can do it! I know you can!
