Necessity is the mother of invention. Most guys that were big since they were little do have the same opportunity to develop some of these skills but they just never have to in order to dominate, so they develop skills that increase how dominant they can be in the areas in which they are already having so much success. Also getting low enough to the ground that your dribble won't get tipped away is not as easy for big guys as it is for smaller players... so an efficient handle is a little harder for a big to develop. Passing should be easier for them to develop but again when scoring at the hoop comes so naturally why would you pass it a lot. Shaq was just bragging on TNT about how he never passed it... even though he was a solid passer for a dominant big during his era.

If they're going to tank they need to be less obvious!

Watching Jeff Green light us up I can't help but think about how dumb OKC was to split up KD, Harden, Russ and Green. That core would have won them multiple titles and having Harden would have made Westbrook a completely different player who would have been forced to play within himself.

Ducks are on ESPN, close game against UCLA, 4 minutes to go.

Why aren't Zeller and Greg Brown getting any burn in this blowout?

Shit, Will's head right into Nurk's knee. I think it knocked him out cold.

If there really are a bunch of teams vying for RoCo, he's sure helping us out if we're auctioning him off.

DSJ may not be able to shoot a lick, but there are some things he does pretty well for a 3rd string PG.
17 points on 7-11 shooting with 8 assists and only 1 turnover with very few options to pass to is pretty darn good.

Brown must have done something to be relegated to not even being able to play in short-handed, roster decimated blow outs.

Wonder what the deal is?

At his price I think he's a keeper...smart player...two way player...I love this kid's game...Elleby who looked better last couple games sucks tonight...

Without our top 4 guards (Dame, CJ, Powell and Simons) our starting backcourt still has 35 points, 12 assists and only 2 turnovers on 50% shooting.

'Scoring guards' is definitely not our problem. We need better wings, more size/length, and better defense.

Elleby did have 5 assists and three steals and shot 50% on threes. not all bad.

Good news!
