It’s almost as if the Blazers packed it in after securing the tiebreak over Dallas last game

the way our announcing crew is just dismissing everything and the players are all friendly at halfcourt is really bugging me. literally no one is mad about this loss except for us it looks like

this comes from the leadership. winning is not a top priority. getting your ass handed to you should be embarrassing, but no one gives a damn.

40 point beat down if this don't perk ownership up about Stotts as a coach then nothing will. No I think Stotts will hold on his job the rest of the year but they give Olshey a choice either fire him or we will fire you and then fire the coach.

Watch Olshey give Brooke a softball interview after he does nothing again telling everyone Nurkic will fix every one of their problems.

Dame has started to play defense! At least in the 3rd quarter I noticed it, he was making a lot more switching, being much more active defensively. I hope this trend continues

I swear if any of these motherfuckers drops a hard to beat a team twice line again..

And then expects Stotts to make Lemonade.....
dafuq.

our roster tonight was more talented than dallas and we got whooped by 40.

Stotts is trash and took the night off because we won on Friday. this game was identical to our GS loss earlier. Won the first game of the series, got satisfied, and took the second game off while letting Curry go for 62 without our idiot fucking coach making a single adjustment on defense.

wasn't home...couldn't watch the game....didn't record...came home, saw the score, said wut?

was this a case of Dallas playing really well, or Portland playing like total shit? 40 point loss at home....really?

Portland's big-3 of Dame-CJ-Melo 0-16 from three.....yeeeeeesh. Over an 82 game season that would be 0-1312.

how was Dame moving tonight on his bad knee? This should have been a load management game for him.

Postgame Notes – March 21, 2021
Dallas 132, Portland 92
Game No. 42, Home Game No. 22

TEAM
• With nine three-pointers made, Portland’s streak of consecutive games with 10-plus three-pointers ended at 54. It is the third-longest streak in NBA history, one game shy of second-place (Houston, 55).
• The Trail Blazers recorded seven turnovers to the Mavericks 11. It was the 15th time Portland has committed single-digit turnovers this season, tied for the most such games in the NBA (SAS).
• Portland’s reserves outscored the Dallas bench, 42-41. Six of Portland’s nine three-pointers came from the bench.
• Portland outrebounded Dallas on the offensive glass, 9-8, but the Mavericks obtained a 15-11 advantage in second-chance points.

PLAYER
• Damian Lillard led Portland with 19 points (7-16 FG, 5-5 FT), one rebound, four assists and one steal in 30 minutes.
• Gary Trent Jr. had 16 points (6-13 FG, 3-7 3-PT, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, one assist and two steals in 22 minutes off the bench.
• CJ McCollum scored 13 points (6-15 FG, 1-1 FT), to go with two rebounds, one assist and one steal.
• Nassir Little had 14 points (4-9 FG, 2-5 3-PT, 4-5 FT), two rebounds and one assist in 21 minutes off the bench. It was the third-highest scoring game of his career.
• Robert Covington recorded six points (2-4 3-PT), six rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block.
• Derrick Jones Jr. finished with eight points on 3-of-4 shooting (1-2 3-PT, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, one steal and one block.
• Enes Kanter had four points (2-3 FG), six boards and two assists over 16 minutes.
• Luka Doncic led Dallas with 37 points (13-19 FG, 8-9 3-PT, 3-6 FT), seven rebounds and four assists in 30 minutes. His eight made three-pointers tied a career-high, which was set previously against Portland (Jan. 17, 2020).
• Josh Richardson added 21 points (8-11 FG, 2-4 3-PT, 3-3 FT), three rebounds and four assists. It was his fifth game scoring 20+ this season.
• Dorian Finney-Smith finished with 13 points (4-8 FG, 3-6 3-PT, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and two assists. His 13 points were one shy of his season-high (14, three times including against Portland on Feb. 14).

Blazers were better for 1 quarter out of the last 8. That was enough to get them a split. But it doesn't bode well for playing good teams.

Still more talented. May have have played like hot garbage, but our roster is better than theirs.
I guess that needed green font. I didn't really think it did but I'm rarely right about that sort of thing.
