Why don't you take a wait and see attitude before laughing at the team? The Sixers have been on fire, especially at home, and we almost beat them. It's a long season. Like you say: wait and see.

thats been the story for the whole season. "Oh we almost beat them, but in the end, we found another quarter to flounder in. but hey morale victory for almost beating them." Sorry but this team isn't good this year. That isn't being a hater or negative, it is simply stating the obvious truth.

You can keep trying to say that to me, but I think it's pretty evident i'm long past waiting and seeing. The cleveland game means nothing. Even though I know you love using one game samples as some barometer to the team... I look at weeks and months - and they have been trash for weeks and months.

I like the pace. To keep a lead at the end, all the FTs need to be taken by a high % shooter if the other team is forced to foul.

Plums should never have been at the line so late.

Nobody hits 100% of their free throws, so I can't blame Dame.

Given our level of talent, 92-92 with Dame taking the last second shot is a decent way to win. If we're up, we have to make them pay for fouling.

Really let here the next speech from Dame. Let face it this team is not following Dame no more.

I mean, Stotts has to be closed to getting fired, right? I mean, going to plumlee at the end of the game?

And contract be damned...
He didn't go to Plumlee. Plumlee was the inbounder. First and second options were covered, so Mason threw it to an open AC.

AC threw it back to our center 23 feet from the basket with 3 seconds left.

It's the truth. End of story.

whole year, really. not just week or months.

How does the saying go "even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a awhile." Every now and then we find a nut, but barely.

Seemed to me we are getting ZERO second chance shots....just nothin'...one and done possessions..

You're right. Fair enough.

This was easily the worst loss of the season. We can talk about that lost shot all we want but the lack of rebounding is killing this team and second chance points absolutely kill us (like the play that led to the Covington three)

If Olshey doesn't make a move to improve this by the deadline, fire him.

Your kidding right we had the game won if we guard the 3 point line and make free throw and lay in.

Maybe he secretly has been trying, but all the other GMs are smart enough to realize only players of value are Dame and CJ.

Because we crash the board with 1 guy and everyone suppose get back on D that usually don't happen.

Thanks Blazers for literally making me punch a hole in my wall.

I thought there was plenty to be happy about (minus the end of the game). Defense actually looked OK tonight. Maybe part of that is the Sixers lackluster array of threats, but I thought they actually did a decent job contesting shots (outside of Ilyasova going off). If they would have had even an average night offensively they could have won -- lotta missed open looks that hit short.

Then fire him for that.

lol Im not gonna disagree at this point. Olshey hasn't done too great with the exception of drafting. He has been horrible in trades and free agency has been a bust. Again not sure how much blame to put on him in free agency because the city of Portland will never gain a big free agent unless were perennial contender, but yeesh overpaying for Turner and tried to for Parsons. yuck. not to mention the resigning of some of our own?
