Who would win in a game of one-on-one?

They had a few questionable calls.
But I think overall they weren't any worse than any other game this season, and according to their statistics they get it right 93% of the time so...

I am curious what this trend of pulling Blazer players arms though. Do Mejri & Oladipo need hugs? Is this why they decided to grab and pull on Nurk & Lillard's arm?
Olynyk came out and said he wanted some love from Love in 2015. Will these two come out and say the same?

Harden has a way of getting drawing his arm in and then sagging so hard the other player has to pull back violently. The refs are leaving so much nowadays open to interpretation or just letting players get with murder that I think that players are trying to put themselves in the best situations possible to get calls. The Blazers picked the perfect time to hire somebody to help them in this regard. Heck, I am not an expert by any means but that's jut my interpretation.

For those of you still jonesing for a basketball fix, the 36ers feat. Josh Childress v Hawks @ the Snakepit game has just started.

I've been watching the Aussie baseball league. It's wonderful. None of the garbage criticisms that come along with having to follow American baseball. And Taiwan and New Zealand are joining next year.

Taiwan has been a little league contender for ages...they love some baseball in Taiwan

Yeah. I hope a Pan-Asian league sprouts up. I'd follow it in a minute. I've lost my taste of following American baseball.

I've been to a couple of games this season, and I'm going again next weekend. Delmon Young is playing for Melbourne, which is a reversal of the trend. Usually players come out to Australia before they play MLB (we used to be, and maybe still are, an official MLB winter league). I really enjoy the All-Star game, the best Australian players in the ABL versus the best Overseas players in the ABL.

My non-guilty pleasure is the Little League World Series. I enjoy watching it more than MLB. It's just so great seeing the kids go out there, and enjoy baseball for the love of the game, and their teammates; not for money, fame, or anything else.

No shit!!!??

I am a BIG Eastern Taiwan fan! Which team were you on? That's my favorite league!

You know, Mizuno makes a Classic Infield Fungo Bat that they use exclusively in the East Taiwan division. You can buy them alone for only $54.95 plus shipping.

Shut up. I said I don't think we would win all 3. Thats it. We did. Awesome. You were talking about a 9 game winning streak where we didn't even win the 1st two games.
Exactly. I root for the Blazers to win.

I'd love to see that. There's not enough money in the game in Australia for us to enter, but if we were financially supported, I know we'd be competitive. The Australian sports market is just so brutally competitive; even more so than yours. We love sport, try everything, and anything, and perform at a competitive level (due to our culture) at everything we try. But there's just not enough of a population mass to support profitable pro teams in every sport we play at a decent level. Our national teams are different, because they're funded by our federal government.

I feel like the song Guitar Man by Jerry Reed probably is autobiographical to you, River. Am i right?

So this inspired me to look him up on youtube, and reminisce. I forgot he had died almost a decade ago, I thought it was just like last year of 2016.

Nowadays they have bats specialized for infield hitting? Things have changed. At my speed, I need a Classic Bunt Bat.

He punched that guy in the face and wasn't ejected!
It was more of a slap than a punch, and Sobey started it by bumping him, so the refs gave them both techs.

That's the thing about the refs in the NBL, they might make bad calls, and all have Napoleon complexes, but they don't play favourites.

They're the boss, and anyone who wants to argue about it, is going to get tossed.

It's the best...I never miss the Little League World Championships if I can help it...Cuba, Taiwan, Japan and USA are always in the mix

Chi Bi Yuen was the last sponsor...I was pissed when my wife sent my jerseys to Goodwill a few years back...

The best infield batting technique is just choking up your grip...Ty Cobb perfected it...you can control the bat much more that way..I'm naturally right handed but I had more control left handed batting...pulling the bat with the strong hand instead of pushing it

I too thought he died recently. A couple of months ago, I spent an hour listening to his songs on Bing/YouTube.

All the time I've been looking up bat videos and posting here, I've had your game going in another window. Basketball nerd alert!

Halftime Adelaide 64, Ilawaharra 49. With a name like that, they have no chance.

Choking up is used when the bat is too big for you. It was common when I was in Little League because we were short and bats were big.
