If we don’t give up CJ were probably giving up Collins. I’d rather give up CJ. Easy.

Agreed. Without a second thought.

By the way folks, I've got a thread up about CJ if you want to move conversations there.

OK, so he missed shots and open team-mates despite staying within the flow of the offense. I'm not sure that is grounds for optimism going forward.
It's not, just tired of people seeing how many shots he missed and then resorting to the basic lazy argument of "CJ ISO Ball!"

Aminu/Turner package would be perfect and would improve Minnesota’s defense. And Thibs loves Turner.

Start Dame/CJ/Butler/Zach/Nurk

Second unit Curry/Nik/Mo/Layman/Meyers

Your problem Bones is that you take one or two positives with CJ, stick to them, and ignore the 8 or 9 other issues that people counter you with about him.

In fairness, I think Bones is talking about process while the rest of us are focused on the results.

Sometimes players take the right shot or make the right pass and the result is still no points. The second part of this argument is that if the right process is followed you will get the right result - eventually. Personally, I'm with Einstein - insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome.

Having a mentally illness, I do not believe that is insanity. Insanity is more serious than that. And you can get different outcome by being persistent. Happens all the time.

But that's PART of the process is his fuck ups, thus the result: choking away games like this.

It's year 5. Even Einstein didn't make the same mistakes after 5 years of working on something. "Eventually".....how much longer?

Maaaaaan. I was soo proud of them for. Oming back. And then so dissapointed in them for giving it back.
Though the refs helped yet again with last minute bad calls.

The nba needs to instill the red flag method like football. This is getting out of hand now.

Odds are with the proper officiating we would be undefeated right now.

Exactly, someone gets it!

I see a lot of people not focused enough on the process that assume it's the same because the results are similar.

We're talking about ISO Ball. I-S-O B-A-L-L.

Okay, NOBODY here is agreeing with you, other than KingOptimism. So you are either not explaining yourself correctly, or your bullshit isn't passing the smell test.

So tell you what: go make a video of it, and EXPLAIN it to us. Since we're obviously not seeing eye-to-eye with whatever fucking "process" point you're trying to make. ISO Ball, process.....whatever the fuck you want to call it. He's NOT STEPPING UP WHEN HE NEEDS TO. I don't need a label for it; t's right there on the fucking court. So call that whatever the fuck you want, but we are better off if we trade him for the appropriate piece/pieces. HE DOESN'T FIT ON THIS TEAM. He turns the ball over, bricks shots, and gets fouls at crucial times. How much are we paying him for that? 98% of this forum is sick of it.

It's 5 years into this shit! What do you see in him that none of us do? Maybe you should try explaining that to us simpletons. What do you see that we don't?

Sorry I dont really buy it. It wasnt the refs who kept saying I know lets not guard Beal or Morris.

It wasnt the refs fault the Blazers couldnt get a rebound half the game tonight. Has there been some bad calls? Of course, but the Blazers played well for basically one quarter total today, they didnt deserve to win it.

Yeah I'm not happy with Nurk's slow starts. Last season and now this season. He needs to get into flow, and realize that he's BIG.
My god you are ridiculous sometimes. Nurk had a really bad game.

Through the first 4 games Nurk was averaging 17 points and 11.3 rebounds on 51.8% shooting. If that's starting the season slow then you have the most unrealistic fucking expectations ever.

I feel like Nurkic is putting up good numbers but his defense this year is just awful... Maybe teams figured it out, I dont know.

I know you think I hate Zach, but Im already wondering if its worth cutting the Chord on Zach and just starting at him at Center, his defense is so good, he’s not going to put up the 16-11 type numbers Nurk does but he’s going to pull opposing bigs away from the basket on offense and his defense is going to be better.

I guess what worries me is Nurks mobility and defense is keeping him out of games in the 4th.

I know Nurk is good, and they need him
to ne a good team, but he’s already spent 3 4th quarters on the bench, and the wizards game that he did play in, he just wasnt athletic enough to do anything defensively.

Your hard-on for me as of recent is quite flattering. You don't seem to understand that those stats don't tell the whole story. And I am far from the only person who thinks he's not playing as well as he did last season. He's slower, still not using his size as well as he should, and turning the ball over. Not to mention he is more gassed as well.

It is either the fact that we are playing quicker (although the past two games didn't look very fast....), which I feel is the culprit, or he's having a slow start, which is what happened last season after getting his body into shape. I've heard that he put on some extra muscle this off-season, so perhaps history is repeating itself.

He SHOULD be putting up 17 points a night; there's no excuse why he can't. He's shown time and time again that he can be better than this. I think he'll get better as the season progresses, but if you're not seeing his quite obvious lack luster overall play, when everyone else can see it plainly, then I don't know what to tell you.

I don't understand how you don't understand the point of "He's struggling in many areas but hes not isolating and pounding the ball as much as last year". I literally don't even disagree with any point you just made, but if you said "he's isolating too much this season" I wouldve, because that's actually the only thing that's improved.

Also, when C.J. has stepped up whem Dames hurt in previous years, half of this forum debates whether or not he's better than Dame.

The void of Ed Davis, having to play Meyers Leonard cost the Blazers the win. How many more games will Meyers lose us in the 2018-19 season?

Well, perhaps if you weren't such an asshole in your responses, my thoughts wouldn't be occupied with images of your head as a giant cock.
I don't agree with you on this situation but this comment made me laugh.

I don't disagree with you. But do you also understand that just because he's "not isolating and pounding the ball as much as last year" doesn't mean that he's not still doing it? He did it several times in this game, for Christ's sake.

Thank you.

I don't have a problem with people being passionate in their arguments. I do it, as you can see.

But I draw the line at openly insulting people, unless insulted first. I don't think I've insulted you in our disagreements, have I? (Not that I'm saying you have)

If people want to be passionate that's fine. But don't be an asshole and resort to insults.

Here’s what the fuck needs to happen. Collins needs to start. I don’t care about anything else.

Collins is averaging about 19ppg, 10rpg, and 4 bpg per/36. And no I don’t think the team views him as strictly a center, especially since Olshey has only compared him to power forwards. Put his ass next to Nurkic, get over the Aminu love fest, and let’s go.
