Can Melo at least look like he’s trying? At least Kanter makes up for the buckets he gives by dominating the offensive glass. Melo might as well be a ghost on defense.

You know people will really give CJ the benefit of the doubt, as long as he does not miss any shots.

His playmaking has been better this year. He's had generally better shot selection and has made the right decision on whether to shoot or pass than he has in past seasons. If he's 7 for 22 but takes the right shots and makes the right passes, then I can't complain about the way in which he played, because players will have cold-shooting nights but we can't really afford for him to not put pressure on the defense.

He's taking more threes, and trying to get to the line more. Said this was a concerted effort.
