Freeland, Kaman, and Leonard can rotate based on matchups. Need defense? Got Freeland. Need low post offense? Got Kaman. Need to space the floor? Got Leonard. It'll be a good thing IMO. I expect Freeland to get most the minutes though. His style best fits playoff basketball.

Unless they're running a hard double @ Aldridge.

I may get burned at the stake for saying this - but I would take Westbrook over Harden. I find Harden far more obnoxious. :dunno:
If I was an OKC fan, I'd rather have HardFlop, and Jackson; than ChuckBrick.

Sure I'd feel shameful about HardFlop's antics, and would probably perform self flagellation; but I reckon OKC would win more.

OK, you've got me. If I was an OKC fan, I'd kill myself.

HardFlop seems like an oximoron to me.

So. He's singlehandedly destroying us in the first half with a near triple double already

You sure you don't want him?

And, he choked the game away at the end - AGAIN.

Yep, positive I don't want him. The announcers on ESPN were completely slurping his nuts for getting his third straight triple-double, but not once did they mention he took 38 shots last night and 32 tonight. They see three straight triple-doubles. I see two straight losses with 70 FGA including 44 missed shots in two nights.

No thanks. I'll take Lillard, his 29 points on 22 FGA, 1 TOV and +12 for the win over Westbrick and his 40 points on 32 FGA, 6 TOV and -12 in a losing cause. You can have Westbrick and his guady stats. I prefer wins.

BNM

I'd rather see Nards or Kaman in, if they're double teaming Aldridge on the catch.
Maybe. I'd rather see RoLo.

I suppose it depends on who has the scoring touch at the time.

I think all of our bigs can score if they're left open.

It's a good thing to have options.

Just watched the game on DVR. My thoughts? Fuck Mark Jackson. What a fucking idiot.

Yep, I started watching the game on ESPN, because I wanted a fresh, hopefully unbiased, perspective. Jackson forced me to switch to the Blazer broadcast. The guys on TNT were so much better last night.

Agree, I like C-Web as the commentary announcer.
Minus when he says Kevin Love is versatile. Every time he said that last night I was like... Please Webber...
You in your prime would dominate Kevin Love on both sides of the ball. Webber would make Love cry.

I have to be honest. I'm holding on too tight. I can hardly watch these games.
I have to record it and FF and find out if we won or I freak out and swear at the TV.
I'm inventing new swear words. Is it the 11 cups of coffee?
I really wanted this game. Nice win, very relaxing.

Aldridge was the man this eve. Absolutely willed this team to victory.

On another note, I really wished Stotts would have gotten ejected on that play where Damian took it inside and absolutely was hammered and got no call.

I might be whining but he's not getting the respect when taking it inside. He's not a rookie anymore, he should be getting those calls and Stotts needs to make that clear.

RW's face is kicked in. Much happy right now.
Fuck that shit talking mother fucker! Go Blazers!

That wasn't a foul, Ibaka went straight up. I can't stand it when offensive players get bailed out for just running out of control into the lane. Lillard is pretty darn good most the time but in this instances he made a mistake. Happens to the best of them when going at Ibaka.

Westbrook had a huge dent in his head. Might be a skull fracture. He didn't talk to the media and Ben Golliver said the Thunder will update his status tomorrow (Saturday).

Not much brains in there anyway, he'll be back on the court in a couple of days!

Wow hopefully the guy is ok

http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/1...city-thunder-being-evaluated-taking-knee-head

Oklahoma City point guard Russell Westbrook was taken to a Portland-area medical facility for further evaluation after being kneed in the head late in the Thunder's 115-112 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday night.

Russell Westbrook was struck in the face by teammate Andre Roberson's knee during a scramble for a ball but finished the game before being taken for evaluation.

Westbrook absorbed the blow to the side of his head as he dove toward the ball in anticipation of missing his own free throw attempt with 2.5 seconds left in the game. As Westbrook tried to regain his balance, teammate Andre Roberson's knee struck him in the head.

Westbrook was face-down on the court for several seconds but got up and finished the game. He was not available for comment after the loss. A team spokesman confirmed Westbrook was taken to a local facility for tests and said there would be an update later on his condition.

Asked immediately after the game about Westbrook's health, Thunder coach Scott Brooks said, "We don't know. We'll find out more later."

The Thunder were scheduled to travel to Los Angeles after the game for Sunday's matchup against the Lakers. It was not immediately known whether Westbrook was able to travel with the team.

This team has no heart. Feeling like the 2001 collapse.

Hahahahaha!!!

Way to show up, again, Blazers.

Way to give up on your team.

I'm glad I didn't pay to watch this debacle.

You were missed.

We need to sign Juwan Howard to a 10 day, so he can throw a chair.

I believe it was Blake who threw a chair.

I wish I'd paid to watch this game.

Me too!!! It was the most fun I've had in years. Totally worth selling my multicade for.

Sure. NOW the crowd gets involved. Where were you when we weren't doing well?

It's no good to sit on your hands when we're playing badly, and only fire up when we go well.

We don't need you when we're on. We need you when we're off!

Dude. We were cheering for them the whole time.

Sorry. Lots of emotion. That game, man. That was the season either way. So huge. So, So huge!

So we don't suck anymore, right? Nice 6-3 February. I wanted 9-0 but I'll take 6-3 with those last 2 wins. 3-1 vs Spurs, 3-0 vs OKC.

Come on, the guy's a dick, but three triple doubles on top of the stats for February....He deserves some props

No he doesn't. What's the NBA record for most missed shots in a 27 hour period? Westbrook missed 44 shots! That's the NBA history we should be talking about. Bledsoe and Lillard outclassed Westbrook in these last 2 games. Westbrook clearly goes after triple doubles but doesn't have a clue how to lead a team to victories. I don't think they'll make the playoffs. Pels have won 4 straight and OKC lost the two most important games of their season thus far.

7 games up. Man, that was a HUGE, HUGE game. Really happy for Eric that the trip across the country was for a great game and a win.
Me too, thanks!!!!!
Getting away from pick and roll with Westbrook and McGarry cost then the game. That killed us in the 3rd, and could have buried us in the 4th.

McGary was OKC's best player tonight. Don't know why he was benched in the 4th.

I didn't realise those Thuggets teams made the playoffs.
They made it to the WCF in 2009. Afflalo wasn't a Nugget yet though.

.

Sounds like a Prince song: "When Love Cries."

If we're thinking about the same challenge, Ibaka's body was straight up, but his arms came down at a 45 degree angle, thus a foul.

Ibaka tried to be a tough guy but the stats don't lie: Ibaka is LMA's bitch.

I believe it was Blake who threw a chair.
I reckon both of them have at separate times.

Dude. We were cheering for them the whole time.
I don't doubt that you were.

But the place sounded like a morgue when we went on a bad run.

The fans are far too passive. They could learn a lesson or two from European soccer fans.

The worse the team is doing, the louder the fans chant.

Constant fan pressure influences the referees.

It looked like barely anything to me.

A bruise does not equal serious damage.

I think he's playing it up as an excuse for losing.

Different cultures and different sports have different ways of doing things. Soccer is boring and lacks excitement... so they generate their own. Basketball is constant action and a game of runs. You can't compare those two. That's just silly and flat out asinine.

I get where you're coming from with different cultures, and different sports.

I follow many different sports from many different areas of the world.

My point still stands that the crowd could influence both the team/s, and refs if they weren't so passive.

Then the refs aren't doing their job. All crowds are passive as hell when they are losing.
