To me there is no doubt that Chauncey has improved the defense. I think Nurk, as much as anyone, benefits from Billup's encouragement and attention. Nurk has dominated the boards tonight, as much energy as anyone.

Not bad defense I expect they will about how control the 3 point line better on defense. Due there only shooting 38 percent in the paint. I think offense came up 60 and the bench play well that half.

One thing I’ve noticed about Dame this season is that he seems to be struggling more than usual getting to the rim.

he has the highest rate of attempts at the rim of his career:



it's actually not close. His FG% is down at the rim but I"m convinced that's due to the new rules. He's absorbing more contact on the shots with a lot fewer whistles. That's a downside of the new rules in that they penalize players that weren't the problem
