Doesn't seem we can ever have a guy control the puck from our blue line to theirs without a high flip..or a back hand walk to barely get it out of the zone..

Igor is why we are where we are. If Georgiev is the goalie we aren’t in playoffs. Gallant is a good regular season coach but got outclassed in the playoffs. Pens outcoached us. Canes our coached us. And Lightning have clearly out coached us.
 
You cannot eat a large portion of Panarin's cap hit/AAV, not a good idea. And to me it is straightforward, need a # 2 C and have for years. Please go get one Drury. Enough already.
 
An interesting stat ESPN just showed is shot attempts. It's basically 2:1 TB. We need to get more pucks on the net, that much is clear. They're very good at that and putting bodies in front of Igor.

And ignoring the fact we haven’t scored an even strength goal in how long? I’ve said it multiple times already but you can’t win a game 0-0 and there’s no shootouts in the playoffs. You have to score to win. Igor lets in a softie. Instead of Rangers having his back, they instead fold like a chair and almost allow a second goal immediately.
 
It shows it was dumb playing Strome. He can’t even finish the game. What a shitty job by this coaching staff.

Yup. There's a reason they're the defending champions. They know how to play in the playoffs and the importance of staying out of the box.
 
1 even strength goal in last 3 games isn’t gonna work. And Strome is hurt and done. Glad we dressed him and scratched Kakko.

Orrrrrrrr….the refs have looked the other way. Tampa was taking penalties against Toronto and Florida but became choir boys against us after game 3???? Hmmmmmm.

We've gotten away with penalties not called against us. The Trouba hit could have easily been called on us and even Messier was saying how the hit by Lafreniere's hit on Hedman should have been a penalty. This isn't some one-sides series.
 
Nope. Too tired of a team. Just fucking dump it in and go get it. This team isn’t made for the playoffs. Much, much too soft and too many guys afraid to go into the corner and try to win a puck battle.
 
The heck happened to this team offensively? Lackluster plays all around.

And Kakko drew THREE penalties in game 5 that weren’t called. Spare me. Tampa has been one of the most penalized teams in the regular season AND all playoffs but in the last three games they’ve been saints. Refs stopped calling shit. They had no issue calling soft ass penalties on the rangers last game.

I know you think the NHL conspires against the Rangers, so there is not much point discussing that with you.
 
Soft goal and all, Igor is the reason we're 1 shot away from undeservedly tying this game.

When you can explain to me how a team that averages 5 penalties a game gets called for 1 per game the last 3 games then I’ll entertain you thinking that the refs had NOTHING to do with this series turning. Refs allowed lightning to run Igor, Maroon to check players AFTER a period ends without a penalty, Kucherov to slash and cross check players post whistle (which the announcers in game 3 even called him out for as well as him skating behind Igor and “bumping” him with his stick) and yet called Reaves for a bullshit penalty, called Trouba for a few soft penalties and called two absolutely BS penalties against the Rangers last game. Tampa is a MUCH better team than us. They don’t need the refs assisting them to win games.
