My count was at 6Approximatley how many times did Harden flop? I need this info for a research project.
Posted this in the ATNBA thread, but here it's very applicable too. If you want to read the report (when it comes out... as of this post, it is not) for this game and any other officiated game since they started... here ya go.

I hope as the season goes on these reports will show that Brothers is a very questionable ref. It seems at times he's trying to give a team a game. I'm still not over that first Hawks game where suddenly they received every call. It's very suspicious to me at times, I felt like although Brewer went insane at the end there that the Rockets didn't deserve that one. Not with how bad they were beating on the boards and how many FTs they missed and Beverly trying to prove that he's a real point guard. You guys deserved to win that one, the refs helped us get back in it admittedly but again that's no surprise with Brothers and his crew.
Any ways, you guys played well and better and deserved to win.
To me, and I've watched my fair share of NBA games this year, this was the worst officiating game of the year for both sides. The no call against us from Roe, the inconsistencies of calling some things the Rockets way but not us (and vice versa). I just didn't know when to expect a whistle.
It was almost a win out of atrition, as it seemed it was 2 teams against the refs and who was able to withstand the crap they spewed. They were awful, and didn't even meet the bare minimum of my standards for officiating.
To me Brothers crew and Joe Crawford are the worst in the NBA. To the point where it leaves you wondering. I've not been on Crawford in a while, as every time he's reffing a Harden game Harden gets like 25 fts, but he's bad as well.
The NBA really needs to do something about it, more than just release reports. If it's clear that the ref made a bad call (or no call) then suspend him for a game or something. For example, if Brewer hits that last shot and it goes to OT you could pretty much credit the no call where he got the steal and took it all the way. The Ref was standing right there too...
Either way, you guys played better and just beat us up inside (I seriously think Lopez is the most underrated center in the NBA). Once again hit all the big shots you needed and Harden had that playoff showing of looking way too passive out there again when the team could have used a bucket or two from him. Instead he watched and let Beverly do Beverly things such as brick shots, shoot floaters, and ignore the guy calling for the ball in the post. From Rockets POV, unless Dwight comes back in full form, they are not going to overcome Mchale's coaching (Leaving in D-Mo way too long although it's clear he's just a soft finesse big) or Beverly's more erratic moments where he tries to mimic James Harden.

Man. There were some times where Beverley was taking a shot and I'm thinking "Why? Play within the offense!" I mean, I know we covered Harden all night and especially in that 2nd half... but run some pin down screens, any type of screens to get him open and moving.
DMo is a PF playing C, and a liability on the boards. It's hard to go from Howard to Dmo, for sure.
Yeah, Rolo when he was out... that's a big blow. He doesn't give us the flashy stats, but he gives us stability and a big that can box out. He personifies what we love about our basketball players.
Harden will get back into form... to that I have no doubt.
+> Excellent. No one thought of a beard compare. Kamamn looks sinister and worthy of a fast and furious 9 role.
+>Losing to either is intolerable.. To me, losing to Utah and the Wolves indicates shit play.I can live with losing to the Lakers, it means we played like shit. Losing to the Rockets usually means Harden gets twice as many FTA than FGA.
So, I watched the replay on LP that is ESPN's feed. With 24 seconds left in the 4th they have a camera on Beverely and you can see him go to 2 of the refs and make a motion to his arm which implied to me that "If we don't steal the inbounds, we're going to foul." One was I believe Brothers, and the other was Roe. The guy who then on that inbounds, made a no call. Harden was doing the pressuring, and Brewer came in and yanked Lillards' arm.
So, even when instructed to do what was told to him by a player, he still missed the call. I mean, that's just bad. Really, really bad.

Would you consider them our biggest rival? It seems they have trash attitude like the Patriots vs. my Ravens.
They are definitely up there. If we are talking who the team rivals against, I think it's different with each player.
I would probably rate it like this:
1.) Lakers by default
2.) Tied with OKC and Houston
3.) Flop City
4.) Dallas
I think those 4 teams really bring out the best from our stars and coach. You can tell they absolutely want a win against them.
This is one reason why I don't want to face SAS. I think we like them as players and really respect them as a team. The motivation to play our A game against them is not there.
I've also excluded Memphis on the rival list until we actually can show we can beat them. As Mr. Tough Shit once said "it ain't a rivalry until a team can beat you"
Yeah same here. We just haven't played Golden State enough this season to see a rivalry. I'm still hoping we have a Blazers vs Warriors WCF. It would be so fun to watch and most likely cement a huge rivalry for the many years to come.I agree with this. I'd probably put Golden State at #5.
Kind of seemed like Portland created an "Off Night" to me....Portland gets no love for any wins we get. It's quite a shame we get no respect. Seems like anytime we win, it's cause the other team had an "off night"
