Totally different game in the second half. They (with the help of the refs) turned everything around.

We can quite deservedly feel aggrieved about our poor second half showing; but we can take heart that we gritted it out, and didn't give in.

Yep. Its official. your new name is narrow minded. I'm not sure you even whether the games. If poor D is Beal going crazy in the third quarter, then why cant it be they played atrocious D in the first half when CJ had almost 30 by half time, and then they stepped it up in the second half? Why does it have to be we sucked and lost, and why cant it be Washington played like a third seed in the second half and we did well to remain in the game with the way Beal came out in the third quarter?

there was alot more to Washington coming back last night than just poor D. If you would have watched the game you would know this.

The FACT is the refs ae there for these specific reasons and they failed at the last second which changed the score from us winning to them winning. Your assertion that it was anything else is simply absurd. Lead no lead, overtime, no overtime. A player steps out and its not called it is wrong. When it happens right before that player scores the game wining shot, it cost that team the game. it doesn't matter what happened prior.
stop reading only what oyu want to to push your incessant campaign that you continually beat us all down the throat with. we know it. We know what you think and how you feel about the D. The D is not what missed the out of bounds play. the refs did, and it cost us the game. Open your eyes to the big picture of basketball and how all teams get leads and lose them throughout games....

Id like to say, learn the game then post, but that wont help.

Nice win tonight but there was alot of one on one ball. We had only 14 assist and got 50 points in the paint. I like Nurk get his hands up more where he is bigger in the middle on D. But he did get a double double that good. Vonleh is starting to play good but needs make the chip shot underneath. Good job Blazers.

I agree with others that we should be running plays through Nurkic more. However in relation to this game, that's hard to do when he's sitting with foul trouble. What it has clearly highlighted though, is the need to make better use of him while he's out there. We can always resort to Dame/CJ iso's when Nurkic is in foul trouble/resting; but we need to take advantage of his size, and skills when we can.
