I'd rather read blind homerism than impulsive bashing. There's a difference between talking about his mistakes and what he could do better, and saying things like "he should lose his job" because the team lost even though he had a relatively solid game. Yeah he doesn't live up to his talent level sometimes but he's never a scrub out there, so when people start acting like he's some scrub I just laugh and tune out.

I'm not jokin guys. He really knows what is out there. He is all over websites and links and articles. He's on here. He's asked me about certain threads in the past. I'm biased as usual, but this guy is special and we are lucky to have him running our team. It's easy to critique......but this dude is a beast for us.
Tell Dame I'll give my first born for him.

I'd take a bullet for you Dame!...

Is that what I'm supposed to say? Is that how it works for the boys in Oakland?

One bullet and maybe then... Maybe then I could be a groupie.

Though, some of those impulse bashes are the funniest things, because they are so out there.

Damian would understand. He's from the inner city of Oakland, I'm from the inner city of Vancouver.

We can relate.

Are we having a contest to see who can make Dame laugh whilst milk is shooting out of his nose?

*gets a call from Powerade*

..... Powerade out of his nose?

We don't have boxscores by I had 4 points (3 and a FT) and at least 2 assists, 4 rebounds, and a block that I remember. In other words, a good night for Meyers Leonard?

Depends on your shooting%, but I think you can take Meyers spot anytime. Just remember to freeze the offense for 3 seconds whenever you catch the ball. I would also recommend practicing your slow-mo pumpfake and your deer-in-the-headlights look

I see what you did there.

And there's a "we don't pump-fake in this league" joke in there somewhere. lol.

Eric! Can you take a picture of you doing one of Meyers' faces after one of his 3 dunks this year?!

-Losing to the Wizards had a sting to it. However winning 5 out of six helped numb the pain. Two out on the win column with the Nuggets . I'm hoping for ony one more loss in our road trip and four losses for Denver.

Impulse anything is basically all our game threads are. They are quiet fun to read after a game once the nerves have calmed down because its all reaction reaction reaction with very few people being like "we got time left" or "its a game of runs were okay"

LOL right. It's why I said "Pound for pound, this was the best game thread to read through ever." When I read the Wizards game a couple days ago. LOL.

I think what gets lost is that, at least for me, I love Dame. However, I can love someone and still get frustrated. Wanting them to be the best they can be. Dame needs to play better defense. He doesn't need to be NBA all defense, but he has to stay off the NBA all NO defense team. He has made it twice, and he should be embarrassed by that. You read other teams message boards and Dame has a reputation around the league of not playing any defense. He needs to understand that taking the big shot doesn't mean hero ball.

He, CJ and Stotts, need to understand that we have a beast inside that shoots 9% points better than Dame does, who probably sees the floor at leadt as good as Dame does. Late in games it would make us better to have him touch the ball. Instead they freeze him out

It boggles my mind that any fan of the team doesn't want these same things. I get some fans get so attached to players they protect them like their own kids, but wouldn't you demand the best out of you kid?

Where is Lillard? where is McCollum? where is Nurkic?

OUR BIG THREE!!!! wow...

but hey... "we got all the tools" "we have assets" "we got the guys we wanted" "we got the culture" (cit. Olshey)

Nice list! I ALWAYS base my opinions on stats that show Dewayne Dedmon is better than Anthony Davis and Amir Johnson is better than DeAndre Jordan. We should have traded Plumlee to BOS for Johnson when we had the chance. Luxury tax be damned!!!! Amir Jonson was CLEARLY the missing third piece of our Big Three.

I haven't looked, but my guess is Nurk would be there using his Portland stats. The other two play no defense, so they wouldn't be.

Using his POR numbers, Nurkic would be 20th on that list, immediately ahead of the legendary, future first ballot Hall of Famer Dewayne Dedmon, and also ahead of Anthony Davis, Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan, Mike Conley, John Wall, Gordon Hayward, Kemba Walker, Marc Gasol, Joel Embiid, Karl Anthony-Townes and Kyrie Irving, to name a few.

Dame willed us to that win last night. The first half was amazing. Second of a b2b after a ridiculous loss-- he dominated. I love when he's aggressive to start out. Everyone looked really fatigued in the second half. Really needed to go through Nurk more. We get great looks after throwing him the ball. Teams haven't yet scouted for him and the action off him yet.

Also, our P&R d looks worse, if that's possible. Nurk either needs to hedge more or actually commit to protecting the rim. He seemed stuck in no mans land last night-- kinda like he was in DET. Think this is on Terry moreso than Nurk.
