Yes, the Lakers are short-handed and missing LBJ... but for us to escape with a win after the Lakers dared CJ, Norm, and Roco to beat them and they responded shooting 29.7% is a gift!

Those guys have to be better on offense given the looks they got.

AD looks like LeBron when J.Smith fucked up in finals :biglaugh:

LMAO at Stotts taking out Nurk for Hollis-Jefferson on defense when he's been saying how big of a part Nurk is to us defensively all season.

You really can't make this stuff up.

Maybe he’s trying to guard the three point line. Still that’s like Pop taking out Duncan

It is hard to argue that if the Lakers were healthy, or at least LeBron was playing tonight, that the Lakers wouldn't have walked away with a W tonight.

Happy we won but ...

Roco was driving me crazy at the end of the game when he went into extended brain freeze.

And I know no one is allowed to criticize Doris Burke, but she's too much of a fan girl for my tastes. Good lord.

Anyway, beating the Lakers is always sweet.

I had a negative take about the Lakers pissing the win away but instead. Hey, look we're in sixth and we control our own destiny now as far as making the playoffs without a play in. We've got to win some tough games but maybe they rest their players and we get it done so we can play the Nuggets or Clips in the first round.

Our second unit tonight are garbage. They need to play well tomorrow
infuriates me to no end when we handcuff ourselves to this 8 man rotation with QUALITY players on the bench. Our depth is our strong suit and when Simons/Melo don't have it going, Nas and DJ HAVE to get on the floor. ugh

I think the Lakers defense is just really really good, and Simons and Melo were playing well against so-so defenses.

The Blazers Uprise Postgame Show is here to breakdown the victory over the Lakers and the Blazers now sitting alone in 6th place in the West. Come talk about the game with us!

With the standings as they are, it would not surprise me to see Utah, Phoenix, AND Denver all resting dudes in our games remaining. They all might have nothing left to play for.

That leaves the Spurs tomorrow and a tanking Houston on the schedule.

Need to wait and see how this plays out for the other teams, but we MIGHT be OK.

Was Melo that bad tonight; I know one thing; he is probably not going to choke in a big game. Maybe he should have been in at the end?

It was nice to see the Blazers play D. If it wasn’t for Caruso it would have been a blowout. Damn, why can’t more NBA players show that ferocity.
