Are you SURE about that? Your statements say otherwise. I just want to fucking move past this shit, lmao.
I’m not offended at all. You said you don’t like the NFL for two political reasons, one of them literally being “politics” and I said I wasn’t surprised

I could have refrained from my comment. I will admit that. Would be great if you could admit you went political when it was totally unnecessary. Opinions can be political you know? Oh, wait, they’re exclusively opinions

I need to clarify a couple of things:

-I misspoke when I said I don't watch the NFL for those reasons. I do indeed watch. But those subjects have soured my opinion of the NFL in recent years, and I sometimes find myself feeling "Meh" about watching a game, as opposed to doing something else. Not so when I watch the Blazers....I'm on every game if I can.

-I didn't mean to state a political opinion, and I maintain that it was NOT a political opinion. It was simply a short list of grievances I have with the NFL; politics being ONE of them. To me, MENTIONING politics with the actual word "Politics" when listing grievances about something (in this case the NFL) is not getting political. If I went on some rant about Hillary or the Democrats, THAT is getting political, and I would certainly open myself up to being criticized for it.

I'm not going to apologize for that. But I will apologize to you for 1) the name calling, and 2) if I gave you the impression that I was trying to be political. Because I wasn't.

That's the best you're going to get here. I hope we can move past this now.

Sorry if I'm being a jerk here, but the political stuff and non-basketball related stuff is better suited for PM's or the OT section.

No fuck that and fuck you!!!!!

Kidding. Moved on. Peace!

Game thread??? Is there a game thread around here?

I was watching a game that the Blazers played tough in but pretty much missed too many shots to win. Maybe CJ not being in the Lineup hurt from three point? he has been the one making them recently.
Wish the calls were a bit closer. Seemed like a few went the other way on that home court.
In the end the road trip was a success and the team played fairly well.
Lets hope CJ is back soon. Sounds like this is not a severe issue.

Hope i found the right thread to post this in?

92:95 and De Rozan steps outside, no call, 3pointer. 92:98. Game is going down the toilet. How many TO Stotts had at this very point?

Next posesion, panic mode, Nurk shoot 3pointer with 6 sec left on the clock. Here we go. This is just bad coaching. If Popovich was our coach he would try to kill Nurk in this situation. That's the difference in coaching right here.

After the last time we played the Spurs I thought this would be, if not an easy win, a comfortable win. Nurk absolutely owned LA the last game. And even this game Nurk owned him on the defensive end. But on offense we rarely posted Nurk. I have no explanation for it. Yes, Peotle (?) is pretty good apparently, but not so good that we shouldn't have attacked the hoop on 50%+ of our possessions. We played absolutely idiotic basketball from tip to buzzer. This was a very winnable game, but we just gave it away.

Would have been nice to win, but another successful road trip at 2-1. That's 7-3 on the road for the last 10. Pretty damn good for a team that posters were calling a lousy road team

Get well quick CJ as we need you for the playoffs.

We had the first 3 Q's. Playing SA is always tough. Hell, we just gave them the 8th in their win streak. For the season, both teams had won two at home.

CJ Injured!!!!!
“I can walk, but I’m not sure what the extend of it is,” said McCollum. “Obviously on the replay it’s hard to kind of see it because my foot gets trapped and then his body is there. But there’s some discomfort, some pain in certain areas… It’s definitely around my knee but I don’t know the extent of it. I don’t know if it’s lateral, I just know that it’s not normal.”

After breaking the fifth metatarsal in his left foot his rookie season and the index finger on his right hand in his second season, McCollum has been mostly injury-free, playing at least 80 games in each of his last three seasons. The 6-3 guard out of Lehigh has played and started in all 67 games this season, though that streak will likely end when the Trail Blazers face the Pacers Monday night at the Moda Center.

“I mean, you never want to get hurt, especially at this point in the season,” said McCollum. “But there’s nothing I can do about it but rehab and I’ll see what they say.”

The 6-3 guard in his sixth season out of Lehigh is averaging 21.5 points on 46 percent shooting, 4.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 67 games, all starts, this season. -Source. Official Blazers site.

Time for hood to really shine, all the best to him

Wes was the glue. CJ is a black hole. Sucks it has to happen this way but it’ll force Stotts to trust other players.
CJ loss will some what hurt this team. Yes Stotts will have to trust others to get the job done.

Wes was straight no contact. At least CJ came down on it weird. Could be a sprain who knows. Wes’s was so obvious it was major. He barely did anything and went down hard. Those are the absolute worst
I am really talking about the timing of the season when the injuries happen.
