This is a tough game. We'll really need Dame to have a big performance and Nurk to outperform Capela. Those two things are likely so I think we're likely to win this one but it won't be easy. We also have home court advantage so there's another reason we'll win. GO BLAZERS!!!

So here is the deal. I looked at the starters and throughout last year and most of this year when we come up against a team the quality of the Rockets or Warriors i look at Dame and CJ first and who they play against. Of course this is another back court that is awesome. I feel Dame and CJ not only have played brilliantly but the numbers back me when i say they are definitely comparable to any duo in the league. Then i look at the rest of the starters.

Here is where the change has come. Right now i can look at this group and feel that Aminu, Harkless and Nurkic can out play Tucker, Ariza, And Capella. No question in my mind that this starting lineup can play well enough to win this game. Not only have i seen it but it is happening game after game. Then there is the bench. Davis, Collins, Napier, Turner and Pat Con have all embraced this rotation and this team is without a doubt 10 players deep. They are all contributing. Stotts has this team brimming with confidence and with that the entire outlook is different.

Go get this game!
Go Blazers!

You just got me pumped up.

Hey guys :P

No matter what happens, the main reasons I want the one seed is of course to have home court throughout the playoffs...but also to avoid the Blazers in a possible 2nd round matchup. Yeah, I'd rather let the Warriors deal with that. Call it PTSD lol but I'm aware that you guys would be a very tough out and the Blazers look like an entirely different team and are playing with the confidence that they can beat anyone.

EDIT: Come to think of it, looking at recent games, I'm sure Warrior fans feel the same way.

This is the most fun Ive had watching a team for a while. For one thing, and I give Terry a lot of credit for this.... it feels like everybody is involved. In the past it didn't feel like there was as much cohesion or players depending on each other as much.... now even Meyers is making a contribution! It's really the kind of basketball thats just so much fun to watch. We should definately keep this going until June. (Winks)

Miss you comin' around here man. Check back in during the game--it'll make it a bit more lively to have the enemy in our midst. :lightsaber::sith:

Props to a legit, reasonable Rockets fan. HOU would still be heavily favored but this guy can come back anytime.
