I was never fooled. We won against a bunch of either mediocre teams, or teams with tons of starters out.

The GS game before the All Star break? A fluke. And until we can do it consistently, I'll stand by that.

If it hadn't been for injuries to our opponents, we'd probably be a 7th or 8th seed right now.

We're 30th in the league in assists. Tells you all you need to know right there. That's not the mark of a championship team.

I was never fooled.
The winning streak wasn't flukey. We were playing great. Wasn't what I was saying at all.

Taking your predictions on Portland2014's thread title that should be up in the next 12 hours...

"Lillard is the worst pg in the league"

Give me your 3 game road predictions? I’m hoping and praying for 2-1

Bench 4 of 19 "game". 26 to 15 FT advantage for Celtics didn't hurt either.

Here we go. Refs do it again
oh yea because the refs NEVER decide anything in the NBA and we should never criticize them because they are perfect. Also if you have read any of my earlier post you would see that I was not blaming this loss on the refs simple pointing out different facts about tonights game as I did with a few different things but sure take that post as an indication that I think the refs decided this game.

All are winnable, but the bench will have to be better. Dame had to come in early due to awful bench play. Looked tired at the end of this one.

I didn't say the winning streak was. I said the GS win before the All Star break was.

The winning streak was in large part due to our opponents being either just above average 40-ish win teams, or having tons of and/or big name starters out with injuries. And I have no problem with standing by that statement.

Finaly someone who is realistic here. Thx Jadon

I will say that what Calabro said at the end of the game about coming off the Houston game, this was setup to be a possible letdown. It happens. Even Stotts made mistakes with his rotation of ignoring the use of Nurk.
