Sans Nurk & possibly CJ, which West Playoffs team do you believe Portland can realistically beat?

Solid win tonight Dame Aminu Kanter solid games for the starters. Curry had Double off the bench and Zach had strong game tonight with 9/9 but what shot out at me was when he was in the middle that's when we broke the game open. All sudden they started missing layups with him in the middle solid D by Zach.

Bring on ML. He will bang with them in the post.
Well this detroit game will be interesting. First game without Nurk where there playing two guys who can really carve out space in the paint. Hope Kanter / Zach / Aminu are ready for it

More to the game of basketball then points. Did you hear the stat that ET is the only bench player in the NBA averaging more then 6.5 points and 4 assists? But since all that matters to you is points, then looks like Larry bird 2.0 is better then Zach, and Rodney also.
What a ridiculous post. Yeah, ME of all people thinks points are the only thing that matters. Obviously you haven't been watching my content all year. Don't be ignorant when claiming what other people think, when you have a plethora of examples available to you on the internet that disproves your statement.

Apparently all the matters to you is points and assists. Here's a stat that encompasses his negative affect on the team. The Blazers get outscored by 10 points per 100 possessions with Evan Turner on the court. The Blazers outscore opponents by 5 points per 100 possessions with Layman on the court. That's a difference of 15 POINTS Per 100 Possessions!!!

How many team has he been on so far? 10?
He was a fringe NBA player for a couple years and have improved into someone who will get paid. Using his years spent trying to make his way into the league to say he won't get paid this summer makes no sense.

screw that noise....Turner has a .042 winshare/48, a -2.5 box plus/minue and ranks 483rd out of 508 NBA players with a -3.97 RPM. The only reason he has any value at all to Portland is because Olshey has been such a stubborn ass about giving Stotts a viable backup PG option

But he's the only player off the bench averaging a specific amount of points and assists! All you care about is points!

Hell I am not worried about Trent about him firing up shots I would too if I only see the floor a short time once in awhile. He shot decent against Chicago with more minutes I think he went 2-3 with 3 pointer.

The Kings can still catch OKC ... If OKC didn't sweep us (with the help of the refs) ... where would they be today?

So larry bird 2.0 plays most of his time with Dame and ET plays with the second unit. Easy to manipulate stats. the only stat LB2.0 had better tonight was points fewer rebounds and assists. So ET should maybe shoot more and pass less.

Why do you keep calling him Larry Bird 2.0? And you said "all you care about is points" while all you care about is basic box score stats? Even your use of box score stats is bad.

Per 100 Possessions:
Pts
- Layman 19.4, Turner 14.4
Rebs - Turner 9.5, Layman 8.2
Asts - Turner 8.1, Layman 1.9
Efficiency (TS%) - Layman 59.6, Turner 48.9
ORtg - Layman 117, Turner 101
DRtg - Layman 112, Turner 111
Net Rating - Layman +5, Turner -10

So you think that Turner is better because of an extra 1.3 rebounds per 100 possessions, which is more than offset due to the fact that Layman runs the floor much better than Turner because he's not trying to get every single rebound, no matter if it's from his teammate?
You think that taking the ball out of more skilled players (Lillard, McCollum, Curry, Hood, Kanter, etc.) and putting it in Turners is a good thing because he gets assists?
Do you know what floor spacing is?
Do you not understand ORtg, DRtg, Net Rating, and how that shows how the team performs with given player on the court?
Do you really put more weight in basic box score stats than advanced metrics?
