He did a good job. Harden was clearly frustrated. I think we found a good strategy defensively to limit Harden. If we have Dame we can beat them.

I'm proud of the way we finished.....not so much with the way we played. CJ needs to be addressed. Bench him and start Baldwin.

Baldwin got burned a few times by Harden....it wasn't a BRILLIANT game by him. But it was far better than anything CJ can pull off. And Baldwin actually plays Defense.

Held them under 100 and they were shooting insane in the first half. Of course we scored under 100, but we were also without our far and away best player.

I watched pre draft interviews with him and he always talked about competitiveness being his main strength. He wasn’t joking. This guy was in the g league and didn’t flinch against the MVP of the league.

Some observations:
1) We started the game COLD.
2) Wade Baldwin and Nurk were our 2 best players, CJ was 3rd.
3) Chris Paul traveled on the supposed game winner.
4) Harden can't dribble with his right hand without palming the ball.
Not a problem for him, the refs don't call it.

Seriously, no hyperbole, we need to lock Baldwin up into a long term contract.

Personally I think if Collins or Nurk is in there instead of Swanigan on that last CP3 drive.
I believe that shot gets blocked 100%.

I want the 3rd seed because I want it. I also believe Portland is pretty locked into that seed.
However if Portland were to fall to the 4th seed.
They could avoid GSW, and instead draw Houston.
Houston is by far the better match up than GSW for Portland in round 2.

I'm not denying that. I'm just tempering the Baldwin hype just a little. From reading this thread, you'd think he was the second coming of Steve Nash.
