Dame is out tomorrow. Which means CJ needs to put up about 60 points for us to have a realistic chance of beating a healthy Houston.

And since that isn't going to happen, then we are going to get absolutely murdered.

I think our best hope is that age and going senile catches up with SA. Otherwise I don't see us winning a single game in Texas.

Napier
Cj
Turner
Aminu
Nurkic

Second unit:

Baldwin
CJ
Connaughton
Collins
Swanigan/Leonard

Rockets will probably rest some guys. Anderson is out. Wouldn’t be surprised if one of Paul/Harden doesn’t play.

I know the Blazers face a tough task tonight, but "IF" the Blazers could grind out a win tonight, it would allow the Blazers to rest Dame the rest of the way, and that would be a blessing. Lose tonight, and you know those neckties get tighter, and Dame will feel obligated to come back early. It's just in his DNA. So I would love to see the Blazers play loose, get Nurk "heavily" involved early, and Shabazz bring his "A" game, and a Blazers victory tonight won't be so far fetched. Go Blazers!!

I don't think so. I think the Rockets view the Blazers as a threat, and don't want to give them any MO going forward. I think the Rockets play their "A" game, or atleast try tonight. They would like to embarrass the Blazers on National TV. So for the Blazers to win, they have to bring their "A" game, and hope the Rockets don't shoot lights out like they did the previous meeting, when they squeaked by the Blazers with Dame and CJ having off shooting nights.

It’s on national tv?

And I don’t think the rockets care about the blazers as much as you think. But if they did, they’d have incentive to “let” Portland get the third seed so theyd avoid them in a theoretical second round matchup.

My bad, it's not on National TV. And I agree with what your saying on letting Portland get the third seed, if they didn't want to face them till the WCF, but I think the Blazers "healthy" are a lot more of a threat to the Rockets than anyone might think.

I agree I just don’t think the threat of Portland is going to take the front seat over their health going into the playoffs. I think they’ll be resting some players tonight. But we’ll see.

If we get blown out in the first half, I would just rest the starters for good

Hey tyk, what's the vibe in Denver these days? Are they getting nervous they might miss out on the playoffs again this year. I would rather they make it than the Spurs. Their streak needs to be broken and that way we will have one of the longest playoff streaks and just one behind Houston and Golden State.

This team has less weaknesses than any of his other teams.

I wouldn't count on a drop off. Houston is for real.

That pains me to say.

Paul has a history of missing playoff games so that can play a big role as well.

Just rest the starters and play more of Biggie and Baldwin. This game is over in the 1st qtr.

You know, I've noticed over the past few years that a good way to win is to play a bunch of scrubs nobody has ever heard of. Maybe we can finally try it tonight?

Baldwin
Pat
Jake
Biggie
Papa

Run them for 40 minutes and we should be guaranteed a win!

Yeah it totally throws the other team off scouting

I want Baldwin. I want Papa G. Shit sprinkle in some Jay Lay in there as well. Save the bullets for San Antonio.
I would be only mildly surprised to have Baldwin start, considering Stotts' past.
