I'm cool with that. I just thinks fans should be allowed to be excited about something fresh. And Baldwin is that. The face thing, yeah I need to cool my jets on that. Dude gets my blood pressure going. But as a fan, we don't need someone to be our dad and tell us when to temper our excitement. Let it be. Revel in it.

I apologize if I gave you the impression that I was trying to scold anyone here, or by playing "dad". That wasn't my intention.

I've simply come to terms about this team and where we are, after making peace with the fact that there are just better teams than ours out there. That's all. If people don't want to hear that.....then, sorry, I guess? I don't purposely try to be negative. We had a guy like that here named Tunchi......he's no longer here, and for good reason.

I'm sure nobody gave the' 76-'77 Blazers a chance in hell of winning it all. But if this team can get, and remain, healthy, they have chance to do something special. Have to win 50 first, then a series, then lookout world. I just think moments like tonight can set off something great.

He's played this way in ONE game. ONE. 1. I'm excited for him.......but I was also excited about Pat's production earlier this season.

He was cut by MEMPHIS. The worst team in the league.

I'm just saying.....let's give him more time. That's all. I like the guy.....now I want to see him play like this consistently. I find it difficult to believe that Stotts would keep him on the bench this entire time if he could regularly put up 15 ppg.

Unless Stotts is an idiot. Which wouldn't surprise me that he would do something so foolish.

I will give you props on that performance. He showed real well. He might just be able to cover Lou also. Seemed to play well against Harden. By all means i will own my statements.
They absolutely need to develop that guy. It's the length of those arms. He is much better than i had expected. Hope he gets some more burn.

One of the only games this year I watched on tv. That 6 min+ stunt in the fourth of no scoring did it for the game.

Opposite for me. Heard it on the radio and yelled that so loud!! Flopping Bitch, probably spends more time on his Beard than most girls do on their hair.

Someone needs to go over this game film intensely with CJ and point out all the times he could have exploited Houston's defense by giving it to Nurk in the post when he had mismatches. CJ only sees that he has a big guy on him and tries to force up a jump shot over a longer defender while Nurk has his guy pinned clear under the basket.

Aggrevates me to no end.

Acknowledge your point, but just so you know, it's been TWO solid games from Baldwin. That doesn't sound like
a lot, but he's really only been given 2 real chances. Check this out:

Baldwin has now played in 2 games in which it wasn't mop up or garbage time. In those two game he is averaging 14.5 points on 11-16 (.679) shooting and 3-4 (.750) from 3-pt range. Combine that with the way he harassed Harden as much as a guy who is basically a rookie can, and I'm all for giving him most Pat/Shabazz's minutes for the rest of the regular season to see what he can do.

It would be a small sample size but if he can produce versus what those other two have been doing on most nights lately, give the kid a shot.
