Took a friend from work that moved here from SLC last year - even he couldn't be too upset by the loss because he saw Dame do that live. What a performance!

I have to say, watching this game on delay, and through the third quarter, I was amazed at how bad the refs were. If this game had been called the other way, we would be screaming about it. There were several points where the Jazz were getting clobbered, and the refs just swallowed their whistles.

Tonight was a gift. I have no problem taking it, but we ref-blamers should be willing to acknowledge it.

I thought there was a lot of non-called contact on both sides. Attributed it to Utah's style of play they've had since I've been alive.
It was a really physical game both ways.

I didn't know Kaman was at the game. Usually they will show any celebrities or former players in the crowd. Terry Porter was also at the game, sitting about 30 feet to my right in the next section....hiding under a PSU hat.

My money is on permenant. I think that's always been the plan but Chris was given time away following the death of his father. Olshey made that statement last offseason "Chris has something to think about as he drives across the country", I think that something is whether he wants a position on the coaching staff, and I think the fact that we have not filled Hughes' vacancy yet gives credence to the hypothesis that the Blazers view Kaman as that guy.
