This is something a rookie says.

Honestly, I'm baffled. How is backing a shorter, smaller, weaker defender into the paint not in every player's basic instinct? Winning is about being thrilled with and exploiting small openings and mismatches. He is the first player I've ever seen who doesn't know what to do when given a substantial advantage.

Maybe he'll quit basketball if Shaq goes after him.

He peaked his rookie season.

I really like Meyers Leonard the guy. But the basketball player looks like a 10 year old who learned his first basketball play and keeps forgetting which screen to do.

I said before, I have seen on more than one occasion where he did a 360 while standing, and didn't set a screen for anybody.

He stood in the middle with about 10 seconds left in the game and screened no one for anyone. It just completely baffles me.

You can literally see him struggling mentally. Every step. Every movement. He can't even in bound a ball without thinking about it first. Nothing comes natural. Hes so far in his own head. It makes me kind of feel bad for him....until I hear his post game interview.

The way he looks around completly lost on the VOnleh game-winning play about sums up his entire carrier

Yep. Can't really argue how bad he's been this year.

I still find it really fucking weird that NO ONE on the team has mentioned his herniated discs... Usually Stotts will say something to the effect of "He's injured, but he's playing through it... he says he can, and wants to" or some crap. I really am doubting he's actually injured... it's just weird.

Yeah, I questioned that whole deal with Quick, in that thread. Didn't make sense. Not one word about it from ANYONE else....

Quarterman missed the last two free throws and we lost OUR FINAL game @HOME. He is not untouchable.

well the 2nd one was missed on purposed but he clearly choked on the first one... How can we trust him anymore if he doesn't come through in the clutch ?

Moe was shameless last night. Can't blame him, but that was disappointing. I'd rather he try to shoot his way into the bonus instead of avoiding shooting altogether.

Meyers should have his own reality show:
"Everybody Hates Leonard".

He looked like shit in a game of scrubs. I think we might just release him for nothing like Detroit has done with Josh Smith.

Man, there's a LOT of short memories in this forum. Nobody seems to remember that Aldridge would either fade-away when posted up on PGs, or end up getting his pocket picked.

I definitely remember; Landry abused LaMarcus in that first Houston series.

Now THIS is a valid criticism. Whether or not Meyers can get over this hurdle will determine if he gets another NBA contract. He thinks every second of the game - he has no ability to operate on instinct. It's like stop-motion animation, where everyone else are the characters and he's the animator - to the characters everything is smooth and seamless, but to the animator it's a series of stills with long pauses between each frame.

I don't know, he's an average shooter at best, I'd rather him work on that post game of his because it shows a lot more promise.

I am not going throw negatives statement about Leonard. All I know he has alot of work to do this off season to even become average big man. Will he get traded properly not but who knows he might be filler in a trade. But straight up trading him to another team I don't see that happening even throwing a draft pick in.

We should feed him to the dogs thYYV5559U.jpg
