There was an obvious attempt to simply outscore them for a bit too long.
Hassan never raises his arms much outside the post much unless he has the ball..he seems to like to windup for a block like a pitcher

No, I wanted someone to actually help before he started his drive and forced the ball out of his hands. Make someone else beat you. That's what good team defenses do, as opposed to Stotts' incredibly passive approach that always allows the ballhandlers to set the tone and exploit their matchups.
Irving is way too good at finding the open man. In that situation against Kyrie Irving i disagree.

wow did they really? I’m 32 and remember all the great times the last 18 years or so and don’t remember them starting like that. Nice stat

No they didn’t. I looked it up and apparently the 3-9 year was when they lost to the spurs. Sorry idk how I confused that

Remember when they went 3-1 on that road trip? That was cool.

Thats why I’m suspecting something serious or drama must have happened right after that. You can’t just completely collapse like this. Especially a Dame run team he’s the best leader in the NBA

CJ this year is increasingly reminding me of Batum. Occasional good or great game but too often just disappears. Only this is worse, Batum would just disappear, CJ keeps trying to shoot his way through and becomes increasingly ineffective and more predictable.

Whatever the situation is, they gotta fix the roster. I had hoped it was a better overall roster than last years, but I think it's not. I'm not saying they should've kept the guys from last year though.

I will say that Nurks injury hurts them sooooooo much more than I think any of us thought it would.

I didn't think McCollum could shoot worse. But he did. 4 for 19. Worst overall shooting percentage of the season.

Seriously after 9 games i have not been impressed with Whiteside. I just thought he would be a better rim protector. One thing i did notice is he needs to be pumped up. He is lackluster but when gets going he can bring energy. I think losing Hood tonight had a bit of an effect again also.

He's like Dale Davis. Slow, out of shape, and lazy. At least Davis was a leader at times.

Isn't he also way too good at scoring near the hoop when there's no help defense? Lillard always seems to run into 2 or 3 defenders. Irving had one young player.

Can't disagree with that at all.

DAME HOLD A PLAYERS ONLY MEETING. GET PISSED AT THEM. SOMETHING.
Why players only. He needs to do it in front of all the coaches.

I can only blame coaching so much for players constantly mis-communicating and playing soft.

They need to trade him while his stats still have people distracted from his inconsistent (being charitable) effort.

At this point. Maybe this will be a blessing in disguise and getting that lottery pick will help us sooner than later.

We have healthy Nurk, healthy Zach all coming back next year. Simons is already showing us hes the future. The expiring deals of Whiteside and Baze that I’m sure at this point we’ll be trading, then finally a lottery pick we use in a trade for immediate help, we’re right back in this thing.

Even Little is semi showing he belongs. Only thing that sucks is wasting a prime year for Lillard.

I'm seeing both Stale Davis and Jamal McGlore (or whatever his last name was).
