Henderson's defense was nice. He was actually able to stay with his man.

Also, Mason jumps at fucking everything. It's called a pump fake man, people use it.

One team has all the experience in the world.

We just don't. Not really worried. All good, it's experience.
And familiarity.

Yes, LMA is a new piece for them, but we revamped 4\5 of our starters and our entire bench rotation. I'm not worried. We really have nothing to be "worried" about in the first place. We are what we are and I'm still having fun. Hendo gave me a pinwheel shaped boner tonight

I swear in the fourth quarter you could hear the grind, pop and ping as the Spurs' gears started grinding the Blazers up. That team is so methodical and well coached (I'm always a little impressed and jealous when I watch them play).

Pretty nice showing by the young guys to hang in there as well as they did. I'm fairly impressed with their effort, but just not enough offense outside of the guards and still a long way to go on D.

The bottom line is our pick & roll defensive strategy is not smart. There are some guards where you should go underneath the pick. You need to mix it up and stop doing the same thing every time.
I think Stotts is too damn in love with his little strategies. This group of players needs to use their athleticism to be aggressive on defense on not play this conservative shit. That worked better when we had a less athletic group.

Disappointing to lose, but I'd say we showed pretty well considering we're supposed to be the worst in the West and they're basically a super team of vets. We have a lot more gelling to do, and one of our new players showed pretty well in his first game with us tonight. We didn't play that well after a short stretch early in the game. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about LaMarcus coming back, but now? Fuck him.

There were a lot of people who wrote Henderson off before the season even started. But, even with only a 1-game sample size, I think my initial opinion about him being our best wing was correct. He's going to change the dynamic of the team.
He has cojones, too...waiving Dame down to the corner as he took his man off the dribble. First game back.

Pick and roll defense depends on the player that's running the pick and roll. You should go over the pick if its a guard like Curry. If you're playing Chris Paul give me to mix up going over and under. A player like Tony Parker lives in the lane so one should go underneath the pick so he has to shoot The 20 foot jumper.

They should call this town the Rose Colored City. I swear, clap if you want to for LMA, be quit or boo.... but holding up signs,"thanking him?"
You gunna let him pour sugar in your in your gas tank too? Blazer fans can be push overs......

To be fair, Parker has historically killed us when we go under picks.

Why is this so obvious to many fans and yet an NBA COACH hasn't figured it out? I mean, this alone should be enough of a red flag. But in combination with all the other questionable things Stotts has done I just don't see how he has a future as an NBA head coach.

We lost, but remember, there's always joy when the rockets lose. Especially when they are at home against a winless team!

Clutchfans cheers me right up!

To be fair, a mallard duck and her five chicks could waddle down the lane and post us up right now.

Okay, the image of that made me crack up.

Or is it quack up?

FUCK YOU OREGON!
