Ugly way to end the half. Airball.

Oh well, 3rd quarter here we come!
 
Allowing 59 points...that's just awful.
 
They need to get LA going on the block. Slow the game down a bit. These quick shots would be fine if they were shooting a high percentage.
 
Wes has definitely cooled off though.

He's playing more along the lines of what we expect from him. Those games where he was hitting those crazy fadeaways from three seem to have cooled a bit. Not saying he's playing badly, just that he isn't on fire.

He is best when he is looking for an outlet from the paint, or a swing around the arc. That doesn't happen much out of run and gun, and quick shots.

It is what it is. It just seems like that stretch of games where he was torching the nets is over. I don't expect Wes to score 24 points though. If he gets 16 points I'm thrilled.

After one quarter, Cleveland is indeed defending the 3 well. Blazers are 2-6 = .333. But, at least we are out rebounding them. If that continues, I like our chances as our shooting generally picks up in the second half.

Well, at the half we're back down to .333 3FG% (5-15), but continue to win the battle of the boards 31-22. Need to get that 3FG% up to pull this one out.

Yup, 5-15 is a lot of points missed. Cavs can funnel the ball to Bynum all game if Portland can't get going there.
 
Offensive rebounding is the only thing keeping us in the game right now. We have 11 ORB (Lope and Aldridge with 4 apiece). Cleveland is out shooting us and they only have 2 TOVs to our 8.

The Mike's are saying that this isn't Cleveland's pace at all. They were saying the pace favors us.

A few of those misses from Nic were wide open threes, and a couple were those weird fade-aways. I like seeing him being aggressive, but a few of those were bad shots.
