A lot going against the Blazers this game. Beverly coming back at home, the national scrutiny of the Rockets after their meltdown with OKC, have owned the Blazers at home in recent history . . . still Blazers defense allowed Houston to do what they needed to do at home.

I know you can't play 100% end-of-4th-quarter defense the entire game, but to me it seems like Blazers are either coasting on defense or playing intense lock down defense in the last 5 minutes of a game. It seems like a bad habit they are developing. If they could just turn up that defense up a couple notches, they wouldn't have to rely on outscoring teams all the time. I'm sure it more complicated than I make it, but that first half defense was terrible.
