BLAZERS' GAME NOTES • Monday marks the first of three matchups between the Trail Blazers and Rockets in 2014-15.
• The Trail Blazers dropped three of four games to the Rockets in the regular season, but beat Houston, 4-2, in a best-of-seven Western Conference Quarterfinals series in 2013-14.
• By beating Houston in the Western Conference Quarterfinals, the Trail Blazers advanced to the second round of the playoffs for the first time since the 1999-2000 season.
• In the sixth and final game of that series, Damian Lillard connected on a 3-pointer as time expired to defeat Houston, 99-98.
• Including the postseason, four of the 11 games played between Portland and Houston last season went into overtime.
• In that six-game playoff series, LaMarcus Aldridge averaged 29.8 points and 11.1 rebounds per contest. Aldridge scored 40+ points on two seperate occasions and notched four double-doubles in the series.
• LaMarcus Aldridge scored 26.8 points and hauled in 15.5 rebounds in four regular season games against the Rockets last season.
