I get what you're saying, I just disagree in this specific game. Even in last year's series LMA wasn't playing much of the "rim protector" role, because HOU floats their PF so much to the perimeter and RoLo is usually on Howard. It's just my opinion that in tonight's specific game and specifically with the way the backups are playing LMA's absence is not the reason we're down 20. If you used RoLo's name in your quote I'd totally agree. But LMA would not be in the paint anyway, and especially not in transition.

I'm not bagging the guy, I'm saying that this isn't a jock-swing-game. The backups are playing well on offense.

ah I see, we are just thinking LA would be used differently. I think Stotts would have to move LA more towards a center position and have him in the paint on D guarding Howard but if you think he would out near the 3 point line then what your saying makes a lot more sense to me.

Kaman with a great look there. I love around-the-rim Lillard. a couple of dunks and blow-by layups already.

If LMA were playing he would be 0-15 shooting and the Blazers would be down by 47pts.

It has been a nice start to the year so this ass beating won't be that big of a deal. Too bad Batum still has games like this.

Gotcha. I guess we're spoiled with RoLo being an ironman last year, but I can't remember the last time LMA was rotated onto a true center on D, or the "rim protector" role. Davis and Duncan were both LMA-sized PFs...

King?

From these Rockets announcers, you'd think they were winning the seventh game of the NBA Finals.

Seriously, in the big picture, this game means very little. I am both amused an annoyed that they are acting like this is such a big game.

They're playing without their All-Star power forward and starting center? CHAMPIONSHIP BABY!

Im going to laugh when houston gets so cocky they fuck up and lose this game

btw: Nic with 1-3, 2pts, 2 reb, 3 ast, -16

It doesn't happen much, LA did it a few times vs Houston in the playoffs for stretches so thats why I thought it might happen this game.

they're talking about "impeding the progress" and "that's a really bad call" without talking about Beverley extending his arm.

papnikolou was still shuffling his feet shouldn't have been called.

though if we don't make shots it's not gonna matte.r

Rocket announcers just said "The NBA has to stop rewarding players for falling on the ground." Too funny.

This exchange I swear just happened:

announcer 1: The rockets have 4 left handers on the team. They're a bunch of switch-hitters.
2: They're used to that here.
1: I know you like that.

... unless they are talking about Hardin thats as bad as LAC announcers saying the same thing.

And "it violates the integrity of the game. The squeaky wheel gets the grease, which is why I'm always complaining about it." Wow.

throw the flag... they can have this one game... it means nothing. we beat them when it counted. classless eventually loses.

The fact that we haven't put our best defender on the flopping douche is beyond me.
