Plus the Blazers are making everything so not a lot of offensive rebounds to be had.

Anyone else think Rudy was gonna dunk that pass from Miller? I wonder how bad his back is hurting him.

To be fair, that last turnover wasn't his fault though. They didn't give him the ball when he had position.

I would like to see him get more touches, and I think he will, but Oden is BEASTING on defense. It's like night and day with last season.

Night and day indeed. I can't believe how confidently he's playing defense, without fouling. I was a bit worried he wouldn't be aggressive or assertive on defense, to avoid the foul problems of last season. But he's actively looking to block shots, alter shots and grab rebounds and he's doing it so smoothly and cleanly.

I guess having one's full athleticism matters a bit! ;)

I like how the second unit is attacking the rim. Those guys were wracking up the fouls on Houston.

and 4 turnovers
One of those should be on Outlaw. Oden was deep in the paint yelling for the ball with an auto-dunk and Outlaw couldn't get him the ball.

Edit: Doh, I'm gonna quit responding to people cause I'm a second late and a sentence short.

Mavs lost to Washington. Too early to scoreboard watch, with an eye toward seeding? ;)

What's the story behind Webster switching to #23?

I believe that was his number in high school but Miles had it with Portland and you can only change your number every once in a while (three years?)

Ed O.

OT: Sheed had 12 points, 3 rebounds, 2 blocks in 24 minutes.

Houston announcers still complaining about Blake's 3 lol.

Wow...Webster turning that into a dunk was fantastic.

We need that more often from Martel.

Can someone tell me why that Webster dunk wasn't an and one?

OMFG!

WEBSTER!

Hey, if he helps the Celtics beat the Lakers in the Finals, he can win MVP for all I care.

Another sick block by Oden. Wowza!

I like our tag team of starting SFs. Batum covers for Webster last year. Webster returns the favor this year. Sweet dunk.

Shoot, Oden gets a sweet block and recover, and then a crappy foul. :(

I think that possession shows why Oden has not gotten feeds for "auto dunks". The Rockets are doing an amazing job of swarming him, and his game isn't quite polished enough to handle it yet. Ironically, I think he's better equipped to dominate another big guy than he is this kind of small-ball.

It's nice to see Travis using his jumping ability to rebound.

Outlaw gets the ball to Oden but will get no credit for it. Then Oden walks but luckily, no one called it. Nice block Greg!

That's our fucking answer? Our guards are bricking jumpers and Nate puts in Joel?????????? Smart.

Blake needs to just go away. His handling of our offense is pathetic.
