<div class="pre">Chicago (2-8) at New York (2-9) 1:00 pm EST</div>

<div class="pre">NEW YORK (Ticker) -- Coach Isiah Thomas and the New York Knicks</div>have been in the national headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Thomas and Knicks hope to end an eight-game losing streak whenthey face the equally struggling Chicago Bulls on Saturday.

During a 100-82 loss to the Golden State Warriors here onTuesday, Thomas and the Knicks were soundly booed by the MadisonSquare Garden faithful.

After the game Thomas assumed all responsibilities for the recentpoor play of the Knicks.

"It's not about the players right now. This is where coachingcomes in," Thomas said. "I have to make sure I give my teamenough confidence and courage to go out and compete and executea game plan."

The Bulls, who have won five of six and 10 of their last 12against the Knicks, have their own problems, scoring just 88.2per game after averaging 98.8 last season.

Chicago has lost four of five overall, including a 112-91debacle at Denver on Tuesday.

"I don't know what it is. There is no continuity out there and weare just struggling," said guard Ben Gordon, who was 2-for-14 fromthe field. "It's not just me, it's everyone on the team. Collectively,we have to figure it out as a group and address it."

Hinrich running your offense is painful to watch, what happened to the guy who guarded Wade and torched the Heat last year?</p>

Re: NBA: CHICAGO (2-8) at NEW YORK (2-9)

I heard this story. At practice, Hinrich was sent to the bench to watch by Skiles. As he sat there, he grew more and more pissed. Finaly, he went to his locker and grabbed a pistol and brought it back to the court, aimed at Skiles from point blank range, and proceeded to miss all 6 shots.</p>
