What’s our pick situation with the Hart and GP2 deals?
 
Fuck GP2! I knew something was fishy about him and ya ate me alive for it

I don't think Simons and GP2 got along.
You don't want a clown in your locker room when the team is trying to right the ship.
 
Only thing I can read from this if there is no trickle down trade that was not announced yet, is that this team believes in Shae and is ready to play him a lot more. Maybe Shae to the starting lineup - and see if Cam Reddish can be a designated 2nd unit scorer with Trendon , Drew and MT.

I liked Payton but he didn’t seem to ever fit on the court. Which I find really weird high IQ scrapper. Oh well think Thybulle is great fit, and also ready to see more Sharpe

All the bigs that moved had question marks. None were difference makers. Poeltl is a quality big but other than that none of them started for their own team. So why sit a Eubanks or Watford for a Bamba or Wiseman? We still have Nurk and we have our own question mark in Badji. CB has options to go big by playing Grant and Watford together with Nurk or Eubanks. What we need at center....was someone much better than was moved today.

Whoopeee! All those 2nd round picks are a great way to win a title. I’m surprised more GMs don’t do this.

Joe is not desperate as he figures this next off season is when he can swing for a hr. He will not go into next season with this roster if they plan on keeping Dame. Plus they still may decide to tank from here on out.

Clown is the perfect description, after he ran over to Trey Young laughing on that end of game foul I was so over GP2. It’s like he didn’t care they were losing. Yes these are my opinions from watching, nothing proven to be fact. Still didn’t like seeing him acting all goofy and laughing on the bench while we are getting slaughtered on the court though.
 
Right now we got 2 first round picks tankothon got us at number 13 and 19 that of course can change in a pretty good draft.

Well, Denver did ok with that philosophy a few years back. I remember a thread about it. Most were misses but they got lucky with others. The warriors did as well. Plus they help with trades.

there were countless team sponsered podcasts determined to push the narrative that Payton was going to fix the Blazers bad defense. Wait until Payton, just be patient.

Blazer fans were patient, we waited, now Payton is gone. What will the next podcasts be? Be patient Blazer fans, these bad players and 2nd rounders will help Lillard win a championship? We just need more patience?

I'm sure somebody has already said this but this was a good deal. They realized the Payton signing was a mistake and not only got out from under it but got some picks also. You can't ask for more than that. If only they could have done the same with Nurk! :)

I bet they tried but no one would bite. I wonder how long we are stuck with Nurk.
