at this rate, the pick will be in the 20's
If so, I hope they pick better than Kris Murray.
a month ago the Warriors had lost 10 of 14, were 5 games under .500, and 11th seed in the lottery
since then, they have gone 13-3, are 5 games over .500, are 9th in the West, are 2 Games out of 7th seed and hosting the play-in game, and 3 games from 6th seed and a bye in the play-in
Blazers: if they didn't have bad luck they'd have no kind of luck at all
you're rooting for personal tragedy and passing that along as good news? The upside being that it might turn into a slightly better pick for Portland for a draft class thought to be lacking top end talent and quality depth. okay then...On the plus side this just happened...

You guys really are going to keep this thread going even though this pick won’t help us out?

good grief where.... heres a quote from the link you posted. Andrew Wiggins's "father, Mitchell Wiggins, has been dealing with a serious medical situation, sources close to the situation say."Deflecting much? Where did it say it was a personal tragedy?

Sure sounds like he's dying a drawn out death. I don't see any "plus side" about that but you do you

In regards to the Warriors pick they just need to not make the play in. A little bonus would be if one of the Bulls or Hawks did. That puts that pick at 13 or 14 and that will be great.
For our pick we just need to lose out. We better be done playing Jerami and Ant should sit against Toronto too. I think you might shut Ant down at that point but realistically we will probably lose every game between Toronto and the next time we play Charlotte even if we were healthy and tried to win. So after the Orlando game, going into Charlotte, it should be a skeleton crew of scrubs for the final seven games of the season, unless they're healthy and we want to get Scoot and Shae some run together. I think the Hornets will win two games in their next four (Wizards and Pistons) if we lose out that's one more win for Charlotte and we end up with the 4th best odds in the draft.
rooting for 2 teams to lose, is twice as fun as rooting for 1 ??You guys really are going to keep this thread going even though this pick won’t help us out?
Yeah, that was my point smh. So sorry that I won't be joining you celebrating the Blazer's fortunate breakYes, because when I'm feeling down and out I go on a message board and state my moral superiority to others...
You don't understand how Andrew Wiggins not playing for the Warriors is good for our pick prospects? Nobody said it was good for Andrew. Good grief, guy... this isn't Twitter/X.

Here's hoping for the best for the Wiggins family

Of course it's possible to do both. That Warriors missing key players benefits Portland's chances is obvious, but it's classless to celebrate your rooting interest's good luck coming at an individuals personal expense like this... that should also be obvious. Is it not possible to do both? Be hopeful for the best for Wiggins family but also understand this will likely help the blazers? Why does it have to be mutually exclusive?
The draft is almost always a bit of a crap shoot. This year more than others. It's entirely possible this could end up like the 2013 draft where the best player gets picked in the middle of the first round. You guys really are going to keep this thread going even though this pick won’t help us out?
Steph could be out for a good while. This is huge.
