That is some serious photoshopping phone skills to make it look like you actually posted that! Props!

What superstar player would you like to pair with Dame? A player that we can get now.

I disagree. I think there’s gonna be at least one guy who we all bitch about not drafting in a few years.
I bet you're right. I bet there's more than just one, there could be four. It very well could be Sharpe. If the OG trade doesn't go down, I'll be fine drafting someone. I kind of want it to be Sochan because I think he has a great chance to make an immediate impact and could end up a big time two way star... and at the same time I think we might be able to get him at 9 and take another swing at 25.

At the same time OG (unlike anyone at seven or after [if we trade back]) has a floor that we know is high and still has upside at 24. So if we get OG, I'll be excited. If we get Sharpe I'll be excited. If we get Murray I'll be excited but won't love the fit with Grant. I don't want Mathurin but that's just me. I'll be excited for Daniels. I'll obviously be excited for Sochan. I'm really high on Duren but don't really want him. I'd be apprehensive and optimistic about Dieng. I'd be pissed about Davis or Griffin even though they could be much better than I think and fit. I'd be shocked and excited if any of the big three fell or Ivey but I might want them to auction Ivey off during the draft if he fell but he won't. Any one of those guys could be worse than OG and anyone of them could be better than he is right now.

So there are a ton of exciting options and OG is one of them if he just costs us EBEC and 7.

This is how I see at least half the posters around here in my head every time I read a meltdown thread.
This guy I listened to talking about Chauncey as a coach, he's been on the Grant trade for a while...he's actually got a sharp mind for basketball...knows his stuff.

Hopefully Billups can get him to rebound better and fight through screens. I think he can be a really good player if he wants to be. Hopefully being on a contending team will motivate him.

CJ, Nance for Hart, Grant, Ingles, Hughes
I guess functionally it's just as good to get fleeced and then fleece someone else as it is to make a solid trade the first time. Unfortunately we haven't been able to justify the Clippers trade in the same way yet. But don't get me wrong, I'm good with Joe today... he made most of us happy... we'll see how we're feeling after tomorrow but I think he's going to give us a lot more hope than we've had in a while... probably since Neil let LaMarcus walk.

So hypothetically, if we traded Norm and Covington for Bledsoe, Winslow and a first, would that have been ok?

The whole premise of this trade for Detroit is free up salary. This trade won’t look as bad if they get Ayton.

From my understanding we won’t know if we’ve made the trade at 7 till 1st round is over or almost over is that right?

Not really, no. If the first was in this draft I would have thought it was a little better than getting Keon but I'm not sold on Winslow just because he had a handful of good games with a bunch of guys no one had seen play together and scouted... I'm hoping Wislow can be a good 8th or 9th man, Bledsoe is either going to be salary filler in a trade or 4M in dead cap space and unless that was a high first rounder which it wouldn't have been, it just doesn't add up to the production that Norm and RoCo are capable of. Right now it looks like they'll be very useful as the first and second guys off the bench on a team that could realistically contend.
