If you scroll up in the photo, you see their knees are about the same height..and then holy crap, the waste of his shorts are at Hoards elbow...so you think he'll be like a fucking giant.

And then you get to the head and you're almost disappointed in how tall he doesn't appear to be. It's as if they framed the photo with an actual, physical frame, and if he stood up straight his head would hit the top of it. So they asked him to slouch a bit to fit in the frame.

He measured out at 7'1.25" with no shoes at the combine which is a 1/2" taller than Bol Bol measured. That's some serious length. He also has some big hands.

Brown looked a legit 7’3 in preseason. He made Nurkic look like a wing. For a guy that tall, he’s super athletic. Dude is a project, but a fun one. Another thing I noticed is he does a good job boxing out and using his body on the boards. There’s more to rebounding than athleticism and height. Perfect example is Meyers. Once Brown puts on some pounds he’s gonna be a problem. He also was the most impressive pick and roller in preseason among our bigs imo. Reminded me of all the elite P&R lob guys in the league.

As for Hoard, I’ll be keeping an eye out to see what position he’s being developed at. I believe it’s small forward but he’s also got the skillset to play the four. Idk how he will do in the g league though, his game isn’t really built for that setting. His game is more complimentary. But he’s another interesting prospect. Athletic, plus rebounder, physical tools. French Harkless, but with better vision.

Honestly, the photographer should have retaken that shot. I don't consider myself a perv, but it did jump out to me.
