before you get all bent out of whack, yea, i haven't been on here much, and yea, i haven't watched a lot of yankee ball.. but, what the heck already... yankees haven't done squat since '09, and please lets not talk about that he won a ring... anyone of us could have led that team to a ring....

this team has all the tools from top to bottom, yea injuries whatever,,, but this streaky nonsense is eactly that, nonsense, this team needs a kick in the azz, and you ain't gettin it from a coach who pampers his players.... this team is too taleneted, and what f's my head even up more is the division they r in.. they should be running away with it! i thought i heard a yankee commentator say tampa was projected to be worst team in BB......

7- 4 to texas REALLY and a another bomb by prince fatter?????

I have stated this before........the Yankees are fortunate to be
in worst MLB division. All the teams are near .500 or below.....
and again they are all losing tonight. Unfreakin' believable.
(O's & Rays have regained leads in their games).

The Brothers Cheapos will probably reward Girardi for a .500 record.

They're too talented where exactly?

...I was gonna ask the same thing but decided against it.

LOL are you kidding?

what am i kidding about, ... tex is up there in dingers, ellsbury leading in hitting, hurt now, but... best closing staff in game.. team has speed, good defense. pitching staff keep u in game... what am i missing?

Drew batting .180, Gregorious batting .217, Beltran .235, Headley and Mccann in the .230s. What else do you want?

...a handful of players going on an abbreviated hot streak does not make the team talented. And the defense has not exactly been stellar.

...as far as "a week ago", well, a week ago they were also getting very good pitching...another anomalous streak.

with all due respect, look at rest of league, they are all hittin below the mendoza line

lets discuss this in july, right now lets enjoy the rangers victory

Pasta your posts sound strangely familiar......

Beltran's arrow has been pointing upward recently.

I would give Drew the next week or two and if he continues this pace without showing a marked improvent in any couple offensive numbers..BA/OBP/HR -RBI....I put Pirela on 2b until (if) HE plays himself out of the job....then maybe by then, the Yanks will have enough trust in Refsnyder's defense.

McCann, Headley and Gregorious - obviously we need at least one or two to show good improvement as the season goes on....Gregorious (imo) "only" needs to get his BA close to .230 or so to justify him being the EVERYDAY SS.

We do need at least one of Headley or McCann showing improvement in their all-around batting.

I don't believe we're going to need, or have a lineup loaded from top to bottom with guys who have fancy BAs/OPS.

If the pitching begins to sink, - the Yanks are in deep doo-doo.
The team - imo- WILL score enough runs to the point where the pitching staff staying at least near the top 3rd in the league will suffice.

I think we should just hurry up & slow down for now.

...Drew has been bad for a long time now...no need for another week of torture just to prove what we already know...he sucks.

...Gregorius is a good defensive SS, but he's no Andrelton Simmons...so no, a BA of .230 with a sub-.300 OBP and SLG is not OK.

...well, they certainly need to be better than they are.

...RAH !

The good games he does have are quickly becoming few & far between. He a 5th starter at best on any team.

when i speak of girardi, it's not because i think he is a bad coach.

i know all too well what it is like to sit behind a player who is underperforming, who is killing any chance for the team to get to next level, any level for that matter, to show what i had, to help the team.

it sucks to sit there nite after nite and see this because of money invested in a player, its not girardi's fault a player ain't getting it done, but , there will be a fall guy, and it usually is the coach.. he'd get hired in a second somewhere else.

there needs to be a change, we have seen too much of this for far too long as yankee fans

Not gonna happen, Joe isn't getting too many options based on the plan Cashman saddled him with.
