what about 2016 playoffs? You overstate your case (surprise). The last time Steph Curry's ankle caused had him to miss significant time was in 2011-12. From 2012-13 through 2016-17 he played in 78, 78, 80, 79 and 79 games. During that time he won two MVPs, two NBA championships and played in 21 playoff games in 2014-15, for a total of 101 games played that year. Pretty impressive for a guy with a non-functioning ankle.

Sure it does. You just refuse to believe it. That team is totally loaded. Most forget exactly who they have playing for them.

They still have Young, Pachula, McGee, Bell, West, Livingston and Iggy not to mention Casspi. They arent as loaded as they used to be

When you add 4 All-Stars that rotate in with the second unit they beat the Blazers hands down in a 7 game series. And they have home court.
Do you have a team you want to face in the first round? A team you want to avoid?
I want to play the Spurs or Pelicans (although I think the NBA is begging for Anthony Davis to be a star). I don't know about the Jazz. I want OKC to face the Warriors or the Rockets ... Durant vs Westbrook or Harden vs Westbrook would be an epic battle. If the Blazers face OKC, the NBA will conspire against us, because they want to see Westbrook vs Durant in the second round.
You just keep thinking that.Young sucks donkey ass. Pachulia's only strength is stepping opponents feet. McGee is not playing as well as he was last year. Far less minutes, even less to contribute. Bell and West are ok. Livingston is a good PG with a good defense Ill admit that, but his offensive output doesnt scare me. Iggy is old. Casspi can be shut down easily. Is that all you've got. Blazers beat their second unit easily.
You just keep thinking that.
what about 2016 playoffs?
1 Houston vs 8 Utah
4 OKC vs 5 SA
VS
2 GS vs 7 Minnesota
3 Port vs 6 NOP
Like wow, right?? Especially with the all injuries to the Warriors
The Big UneasyGoing purely on premature hypotheticals, I wouldn’t like to play New Orleans. Something about them that makes me uneasy.

But they beat us in the playoffs last year....But he is on a team that can't guard us. So there is that.
Yes.... Yes they did. Somehow the Blazers got beat by a total "Trash Team".But they beat us in the playoffs last year....

That lineup played against Utah last night and got blown out of the water and that was at home. That lineup isn;t anywhere near as talented as our strating lineup and who would they have coming off the bench against our bench?
Young is very erratic and can shoot a team in or out of a game (during the same game)
Iggy is getting older and can still play well, but not near as effective as he was
Pachulia is a decent backup but I would take Nurk or Davis over him
Livingstone is a solid player but his game has slowed down as well. A decent bench player
McGee can be dominating or disappear and will make plenty of bonehead plays.
In the game until 3 mins left isn't really a blow out. And the Jazz are quite possibly the hottest team in the NBA right now and played all their starters the entire game. That lineup played against Utah last night and got blown out of the water and that was at home. The original statement is outlandish i'll give you that. Blazers probably beat their second unit in 6. Not really that that is saying much.

Nah bro... 53-47 at half. How were they in it with 3 minutes left when they were down by 19 at half time? GSW got smoked man....
Nah bro... 53-47 at half.
With 5 mins left the game was over and GS pretty much threw in the towel. 4th quarter was pretty much 20 points all the way.
You can look for yourself here.

GSW was down by 20.Hey no question Utah came out after half and played a solid stretch in the 3rd. They did pull ahead. But GS matched them basket for basket the rest of the way. The game was not over and they competed. With 5 mins left the game was over. Utah is the best defensive team in the NBA without question. They locked them down. That second unit is a quality group. That is the point now isn't it?Okay... sorry 5 minutes into the thirdView attachment 19729 GSW was down by 20.
Look at that third quarter.... you cant seriously tell me GSW was in this until 3 minuted left and that their second unit would beat the Blazers....
