About 12 hrs ago as per the IG vidHmm, ok. When did Turner sign? Seems odd he wouldn't have brought a change of clothes

People said that about Meyers this year. If he commands a ridiculous salary next year, but not this year, that would mean that during the upcoming season he will have earned a ridiculous salary. And in that case I want to keep him. If that scenario unfolds after we renounce him it will be worse than trading Jerm for Davis.
@OSUBlazerfan where is that photo from? Looks professionally taken
I'd rather cross that bridge when we get there and do our best to win now. That means putting together the best roster we can.
Actually we could go over the cap for him in that scenario, but only to as much as 120% of his prior year salary. That's no problem for Durant, because that will still get him to the max. For Ezeli, however, if he outperforms expectations in the first year, he could command significantly more than 120% of what we would pay him this year.
At this point, I'd like to keep ALL of the players plus add Ezeli. That would bump my offseason grade to at least a B+ pending what they do with Plumlee.
Well, yes kinda - he wasn't available for a big payday this summer like Meyers was/is. People said Meyers was gonna get MAXed out this summer, so we better trade him so we don't lose him for nothing. So far, that doesn't look like it's going to happen. So my point was that I don't think it's a valid claim to make regarding Meyers, and that if he does get paid next summer it will be because he finally turned the corner and will have earned a big contract...in which case it would be an awful idea to dump him for nothing now. Can't the same be said about Plumlee? Who is your choice to move?
I think that Leonard's S&T complicates things a bit. Plumlee is a lot easier to move contract-wise, and has a semi-established skill set and starting experience. In scouting words, he has good tape. He also has a year left on the cheap, and then RFA ability if you're a team that wants a center for 5 years. If he's not going to be ours, now's the time to trade.
Leonard probably wouldn't bring back much right now, anyway, even if the numbers worked out. And if he signs the QO we're likely not getting much of anything for him.
True, although Durant could just do another 2yr w/opt-out deal, and do a 4 year w/7.5% raises deal the next year with the early bird rights that the Warriors would have gained by then. That's true, there is the Non-Bird Exception, but the raises that can be offered in that case are lower at 4.5% (for comparison, the raises you can offer a Bird Exception player are 7.5%).
If Durant wants his largest possible deal, the Warriors aren't going to be able to use the Non-Bird Exception, they'll need actual cap room (but they should have it: the cap room Durant is currently occupying, plus the cap going up which will--for obvious reasons--cover the max contract also going up).

See my post on the bottom of pg 20...?pic doesn't work.
And how about the large black arm coming out of said shirt?
Latest projection has cap going up to 102, then 108 then topping at 114.The problem with that is the cap is expected to peak next off-season and then actually drop in the years after. I'm not completely sure about why that is, but I remember a Zach Lowe article when he talked about that. I assume Durant will want to cash in next off-season.

Davis is one of the best offensive rebounders in the league and he loves Portland. Keep him.Well, yes kinda - he wasn't available for a big payday this summer like Meyers was/is. I don't wanna move anybody for Ezeli. But I do think that, at some point this season, we need to trade Davis or Plumlee, and I wouldn't be opposed to trading both. Davis is the least skilled big on the team, and may bring back the most value since he's not expiring like Plumlee - so he'd be my first choice. But if we can get more value from Plumlee then shop him.

Good call. Are we trying to make something of nothing here? The shirt isn't "blacked" out. The photo is cropped. That guy in the black jacket is in both pics. It's just Ezeli has been cropped out.
