I don't cry when I'm sad. I just always bash my head into the wall and attempt suicide.

I have prayed multiple times for Armageddon, 2012 end of the world or whatever other end of the world scenario to be held off until I see one title. I used to make fun of my Red Sox friend when he said he would be happy for the rest of his life when the Sox finally won. Obviously there drought was longer than Portlands, but I understand it now. I just need to see one title, thats all.

Can't say I would cry for the Blazer's but if Arsenal won the title I would definitely cry or just be overwhelmed with pure joy. It is an amazing feeling.

I could see myself crying, don't think it would happen but I wont rule it out. Almost cried when The ducks got called for the safety and then the "99% of the time it would be ruled down but just like all game long the refs swallowed the whistle and made the call to favor the favorite team instead of the correct call" missed tackle. So its up in the realm of possibility.

My dad had season tickets and took me to Game 6 on June 5, 1977. He wouldn't let me rush the court with everyone else and calmed me down by saying, "this is just the beginning; this team will win a lot more of these". On the way home and at the parade (SW corner of Broadway & Taylor) he kept telling me about the 1960s Celtics and about how young we were. I was too young to really appreciate the championship then, but its significance has grown in me these past almost 34 years that I choke up thinking about it now.

Just a taste:

So, yes I would cry, but it wouldn't be about the championship, but thinking about how close we came to winning it between 1977 and whenever it happens again and all the great basketball and all the great players that have graced Portland.
