The only thing excluding gender preferences when the Bible talks inclusively about "all my children or all my People" would be yourself.....you realize who wrote the Bible right? Mostly celibate cloistered monks who trancribed teachings from a paternal culture...those same monks said Mary Magdalene was a hooker......she was not a hooker...she just wasn't a submissive woman in that paternal society and walked away from an arranged marriage she wanted no part of....see how that works?The bible is seriously flawed by the opinions of male perspectives..

out think? that would require believing in one to begin with...I don't believe in your religious mythology but if it makes you happy...it serves a purpose...I do believe in faith in goodwill..I don't believe creating suffering is a good teaching tool for anyone who thinks their children need to learn a lesson ...the whole idea that only death brings you bliss and reward is actually pretty morbid...I guess some folks need that "father figure" to hold themselves accountable..I believe in your right to pray to a Grand Wazoo if you want to...choices

Sorry, my so-called OP dilemma has absolutely nothing to do with my great-nephew's choices. I love Alex and will unequivocally support whatever life decisions he makes. That said, I'd be very excited if he chooses to remain a male. Call me selfish, but I don't really want another great-niece. I have five of them......and then Alex.
