How tall are you...?
I’m only 6ft tall.

I’m just asking an honest question though.

I mean, I only thought if it, cause he tagged me in some bullshit.

Just a random thought I guess.

Right.

I don't use green font.

Like when @dviss1 said Hispanic people are the hardest workers that is fine, but who is the laziest then?

If you say so and so is the laziest you're racist. There's a flip side to everything.

Try picking beans for a living.

As far as I understand "butthurt" has not generally been considered an insult here, so much as a description of the labeler's perception of the labelee's reason for posting responding in a certain way, ie, that the person is upset about a certain set of circumstances and is subsequently responding emotionally and/or illogically as a result.

The post impugning HCP's intelligence, however, should probably be addressed.

It's not an insult unless it's untrue.

Try picking beans for a living.

Easiest fucking job I ever had. Seriously, it's a breeze.

Out picked the few migrant adults at the fields on a regular basis as an 8-12 year-old every season.

Also strawberries and blackberries.

Harder jobs I had as a preteen child included mowing lawns, morning and night newspaper routes, babysitting, painting houses, caddying...

Sure he is... (not)

But what about all the money he's spending on trips to Maralago? However the F you spell it he's waiting a TON of money on travel. He spent more on travel in one year than Obama in both terms...

Obama went on 200 golf trips between his election and October 2014, mostly to exotic locales such as Hawaii, on our dime.

Do the math and get back to me.

Try picking beans for a living.
Yeah, at 2.5 cent a pound those are tough bucks. If you go like hell you can do 3/4 pound/minute. Damn near make enough to dress yourself for another year in a whole season. Beats the hell out of nothing though.

This is from CNN though...

Trump on pace to surpass 8 years of Obama's travel spending in 1 year

Washington (CNN)Donald Trump's travel to his private club in Florida has cost over an estimated $20 million in his first 80 days as president, putting the president on pace in his first year of office to surpass former President Barack Obama's spending on travel for his entire eight years.

The outsized spending on travel stands in stark relief to Trump's calls for belt tightening across the federal government and the fact that he regularly criticized Obama for costing the American taxpayer money every time he took a trip.
Given variations in each trip, estimating the security costs around a presidential trip is difficult. But a 2016 Government Accountability Office report about a four-day trip Obama took to Florida in 2013 -- one similar to Trump's trips -- found the total cost to the Secret Service and Coast Guard was $3.6 million.

Trump notches his 13th golf course visit

To date, Trump has spent six weekends -- and a total of 21 days -- at Mar-A-Lago, his private Palm Beach club. The total estimated costs for those trips are around $21.6 million.
Obama, by contrast, spent just under $97 million on travel in his eight years as president, according to documents reviewed by Judicial Watch, a conservative government watchdog. These trips included personal trips - including ski trips to Aspen and the Obama's annual family vacation in Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts -- and work trips, like a visit to Everglades National Park on Earth Day in 2015.
Trump's frequent weekend travel makes it all but certain the 45th President will surpass Obama's spending in his first term, likely within months.
The spending comes as Trump asks the federal government to slash non-defense spending by $54 billion, including deep cuts to the State Department, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Environmental Protection Agency and the wholesale elimination of other federal programs. The proposed cuts, which are unlikely to be adopted in total, will correspond with $54 billion in increases to defense spending.
Trump's frequent trips to Florida will likely end soon. Businesses in Palm Beach County have been told to expect the president to visit through May, but that Trump will likely stop visiting after that because the weather in the area begins to get stiflingly hot.

Instead, many expect Trump will then start making frequent trips to his penthouse apartment at Trump Tower in New York City -- where first lady Melania Trump has been living for the first part of 2017 as their son, Baron, finishes school -- and his private Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster Township, New Jersey.
Trump is said to be particularly fond of his New Jersey property. Ivanka Trump was married there, and Trump used the country club as president-elect to put together his government after winning November's election. In a sign of his love for the club, Trump has expressed a desire to be buried on the property.
But as much as the trips are a budget problem for Trump, they are also a public relations issue.
The president was an outspoken critic of Obama's travel, routinely slamming his predecessor on Twitter for his holiday trips home to Hawaii.
"The habitual vacationer, @BarackObama, is now in Hawaii. This vacation is costing taxpayers $4 milion +++ while there is 20% unemployment," Trump tweeted in 2011 with an incorrect unemployment figure.
Trump later tweeted: "President @BarackObama's vacation is costing taxpayers millions of dollars——Unbelievable!"
High costs of security and travel
Despite these comments, Trump and his family have proven to be an expensive first family to protect.
Not only does Trump travel frequently, but New York City officials have said it costs between $127,000 to $146,000 a day to protect first lady Melania Trump when she is in New York and the president is not there.
Trump has yet to visit New York as president.
The extensive needs of the Trump family have put strains staffing on the Secret Service, too.
Dozens of agents from field offices across the country, including New York, have been temporarily pulled off their normal criminal investigation duties to work two-week rotations protecting members of the large Trump family, Secret Service officials told CNN.
Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly said earlier this month that the Department of Homeland Security will ask for additional funding to protect Trump.
"They need a lot more agents, not just because of the Trump era, although that is additional because he has a lot of children and grandchildren," Kelly told senators on the Homeland Security Committee. "We need more agents and we need more uniformed personnel."
Kelly also acknowledged the strain the Secret Service is under.
"We need a larger Secret Service," Kelly said, "because we need to get some of these people a little bit of time at home with their families."

Due to inflation, every President in my lifetime has probably incurred higher travel costs than the previous President.

Obama holds the current record for travel costs by a huge margin, and President Trump may eventually beat it, but likely not.

CNN was exposed last year for making shit up with this FAKE NEWS article.

Here's the real scoop, after Judicial Watch filed a FOIA lawsuit to get public records on travel costs for both Presidents last September.

At that time President Trump's travel costs were roughly 4 million spread over 8 months, making him a miser compared to the extravagant Obama.

Judicial Watch also released travel expenses related to President Trump’s travel totaling $4,082,427.71

(Washington, DC) — Judicial Watch today announced it obtained travel
records from the Secret Service in response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit, bringing the known total of travel expenses for former President Barack Obama and his family to $105,662,975.27. The latest records show President Trump’s travel expenses total slightly over $4 million.

Did you know your question is typical of an ESFJ seeking affirmation?

"Discussing scientific theories or debating European politics isn’t likely to capture ESFJs’ interest for too long. ESFJs are more concerned with fashion and their appearance, their social status and the standings of other people. Practical matters and gossip are their bread and butter, but ESFJs do their best to use their powers for good."

you plan your life around Dear Abby predictions too?

Very few of them do that. I picked vegetables for days at a time as a child. We were poor as fuck.
Very hard working people. When I was younger this dude had his whole family out doing landscaping and we would hire him every summer. Paid him extra because they did such a good job every time and they work for cheap because they didn’t have citizenship. I also love within their culture how much they value family.

Dear LAKER FAN, as usual you're wrong as can be.

Roughly half of America, and more than half of legal voting citizens, elected President Trump.

Other than being legal citizens of America and voting for President Trump, they are as varied in their political and moral views as the group of legal and illegal citizens who voted for candidates other than President Trump.

Since I started this thread (just for posters to toss out any gripe about whatever that they wanted to post) I'll answer your post with my personal opinions.

1. I have no emotions pertaining to guns, which are tools I use primarily for subsistence hunting to feed my family, and which I possess as tools for the defense of my family, property and country should anyone foreign or domestic threaten them.

2. I kill a few game animals and fish now and then and my family dines on their nutritional, non-GMO flesh. Once in awhile I shoot a sage rat or 2 when they are overwhelming my property. I don't "want" to kill animals, I just prefer them to the chemical-ridden crap you buy at the store or restaurant.

3. I know there is constant climate change on Earth as there always has been. The Earth is a living, breathing organism that would die if climate change stopped.

4. I have a particularly high opinion of dviss1, whom I have briefly met, and respect him for boldly and unapologetically expressing his Freedom of Speech.

5. I'm an atheist.

6. I support The Constitution and The Bill of Rights, for all American Citizens, which includes the right to protest peacefully, regardless of their views. I support the prosecution of anyone who interferes with those rights. I do not share the view of either group at the Charlottesville riot, nor the mishandling of it by law enforcement.

7. I support 100% perfect border security and whatever it takes to reach that goal, which obviously requires walls being built on large portions of our borders.

8. Kobe anally raped a girl, who was not his wife.

So HCP is pretty much right on. Thanks for clarifying

So this is what I'm starting to comprehend........
The same group of people who voted for Trump, also loves guns, want to kill animals, don't believe in global warming, and all have the same opinion of dviss on here? Did I miss anything? You probably think the world was created in 7 days as well huh? It is interesting how they all kinda tie together. I'm sure i'll get hollered at by said people for this, but am I wrong? For those more in the know of the OT page, what other shared traits are there? Did they support the march in Charlottesville? Building a wall to keep us safe from Mexicans? I'm sure there is some differing opinions amongst them, but I'm correct right?
I don’t think this is a fair analysis of the conservatives on this forum. It’s just a big generalization. A stereotypical one at that. I would be really surprised even if your furthest of right people on this forum were racist. These comments you made are a part of why trump was elected in the first place

But, in excess of 8 to 1?

Most of them are Catholic too. Which is why they have such big families (no one begrudged the Kennedy's for having so many children. They do the jobs here that no one else will do plain and simple.

Trump got elected because he colluded with the Russians.

I think trump got elected over a mixture of things. I don’t believe in the whole Russian thing. For one, Wikileaks leaked dnc emails. That was a big factor because it kinda exposed Hillary and that party with how they screwed over sanders and what not. I also think middle America was just kind of fed up. Tired of this super left ideology being forced down their throats. The PC culture. Either way you had two bad candidates to pick from. I think it came down to the lesser of two evils for people and if we are going by that logic than trump wins. I don’t like the guy. I think he’s extremely immature and an egomaniac, obviously shouldn’t represent this country. However I can see why people voted for him at the time. At the same time it’s a shame it came down to those two candidates. Should of never happened. Hopefully the people of this country get it together in the next few years and hopefully a better candidate comes around to challenge trump the year 2020.
