It's going to be a long offseason with all the media chatter of LMA leaving us (which I don't believe, national media is just awful and grab small statements and make a mountain out of nothing).
At the end of the day, when many of you are shitting your pants throughout the forum about what we need to do, just take a breathe, and remember that Olshey's got our backs.
This is a guy who drafted Leonard and McCollum who are looking like they might be studs in the future. When he said those two were untouchable and we laughed at him this trading deadline, he proved to us he knows what he is talking about, and we are a bunch of front office wannabes.
When he signed Kaman and missed out on Spencer Hawes, we shat ourselves. Hawes ended up sucking badly, and Kaman was great until we overused him and ran him down. Kaman also helped Leonard tremendously by mentoring him. I think he will get value from Kaman's partially guaranteed deal this offseason too, making that signing even more awesome for us.
When we thought we needed bench scoring, he went out and got us Afflalo for basically peanuts. IT didn't work out as planned, but I still have faith we will like the outcome. Whether that being Afflalo redeeming himself next year with us, or by Afflalo opting in and us using him in a trade for something else.
So even if we make an under the radar move that most of you would hate, like turning Rolo into Tyson Chandler or Roy Hibbert, I'm going to trust Olshey knows what he is doing until he proves otherwise.
Even if Aldridge leaves, remember that we are in good hands with Olshey, and I think we'll be happy with how our team looks by training camp.
In Olshey, I trust.
