I think it’s safe to assume the latter at this point.I'm thinking it's incompetence....but it could be fear of the Bernard Sanders.
one is current news
This is the sort of thing that makes non-Bernie supporters really dislike Bernie supporters, and by transferrence, Bernie himself.
It's just a smear with zero basis whatsoever. It's not a good look and it's counterproductive.

It could be 3 or even 4 going to convention. No doubt. However, if Bernie can push Warren out of the race, he picks up more of her supporters than anyone else.

Lies are the news and the news is lies. The thing that makes Bernie supporters hate establishment democrats is their instance that everything thing is fine and ok with the process whenever there is obvious issues. The incompetence is the conspiracy. Fix the damn system already or live with never ending conspiracy and party divides.
Bernie’s campaign didn’t help fund the company that created the faulty voting app. Pete’s did. That coupled with the fact that he claimed victory before the votes were counted is enough to get the people who got cheated last election riled up.The problem with that is, why is it Pete's fault and not Bernie's, if we are assigning blame to one candidate or the other (rather than properly blaming some fools in Iowa)?
Not clear, given that Bernie's camp went to some effort to preserve the caucus system, that this isn't more his fault than any other candidate's. If you really want blame assigned.

add to that that Bernie had a comfortable lead in early polls where Pete was somewhere in the low middle pack. Then the system goes down for a day and bunch of shuffling happens and Pete magically appears on top. The problem is not necessarily with the actual caucus format, although that does suck and needs improvement, the problem here is with how it played out. It makes Pete looks shady as hell, even if Pete is legit then it puts his whole victory into question and opens the door for criticism and conspiracy. In politics appearances are everything.
Yes, I can see that Bernie's camp wants to create the appearance that Pete cheated. It's bullshit, of course, but politics aint beanbag, so have at it.
Jeez, Bernie arguably won last night and is on track to win NH and possibly NV. It's like complaining about the refs when you are up 30 points in the 1st quarter.
These kind of election screw ups have been going on since the fist election. Smoke filled back room deals (Kennedy/Johnson) bribes, orgies, paid solicitors, chad's, nothing new just now everything is exposed true or false over the net and 24/7.add to that that Bernie had a comfortable lead in early polls where Pete was somewhere in the low middle pack. If you buy a burrito at Chipotle, and they give a bunch of other people the runs, are you guilty of funding Chipotle?
Buttigieg doing well in Iowa, regardless of what actually happened behind the scenes, doesn't worry me. He has virtually no chance of actually winning the nomination. If anything it would be good if some Biden people in other states switched to Buttigieg because of this.

“A group of prominent South Carolina Republicans is preparing to launch a wide-scale effort this week to encourage GOP voters to vote for Sen. Bernie Sanders in the February 29 Democratic primary,” the Charleston Post and Courier reports.
“The Republican plan to meddle in the Democratic race, emerging just weeks before the ‘First in the South’ primary, has two goals: Boost the candidate who the Republicans believe presents the weakest general election threat to President Trump and pressure Democrats to support closing state primaries in the future.”
Are the Republicans outsourcing their shitty campaign strategy creation department to the Democrats or something? Here's some good news for Bernie supporters, though:

I've been through a caucus before and it's a nightmare. I'd say it's virtually impossible for a physically handicapped or elderly person to undergo. Is it any wonder that with all the political hate even within the same parties that there is zero trust and a spirit of cooperation?
To caucus means people face to face must come up with a consensus but now days it’s more like the Gong Show!
