Is Portland the best team in the West?

Amazing to me is we're 3-0 and I don't think we've come close to clicking for 4 qtrs yet....we're winning with defense and at the free throw line which is a great thing..with this team it can only get better.

I agree. Haven't even seen one of my favorite players of this years coup yet. Gary MF Payton.

Meh. It's all fun. Most of these Eeyore's had us 0-3 to start the season.
This all day long. It's fun when we start the season off not clicking but still 3-0. Obviously we don't know what this team's ceiling or floor is but it seems both are a little higher than most of us had assumed. You started a fun thread, it's not like you wrote this in an article for ESPN.com or something.

Yeah, this year has been different. Instead of taking so many bad 3's, we are pushing the ball resulting in turnovers. (offensive fouls and forced passes) It is more fun to watch even with the missed lobs, but they still need to clean it up.

Too early to say but they are a good team.

Do people not know the reality of jinx threads? Good lord.
I think some of us think that the idea of a "jinx" is some superstitious nonsense and might not even believe in the "Good lord". Not trying to start any kind of religious conversation but I'm very open to discussing how ridiculous superstitious sports fans are.

ya im not interested in any debates. as you were.

also sidebar... i cringe whenever calabro verbalizes up our FT success right as a guy is about to go to the line.

superstition does not have to have a religious fooundation. Imo. Karma, energy transfers, etc. can play a major factor.

No, they are not the best team. But, they are really fucking good. The West is so loaded though. 50 wins may not be enough.
You gotta understand what the addition (by subtraction as I sang all summer!) of the type of players Cronin brought in, along with adding a finally healthy Damian Lillard
to a man like Chauncey Billups, and good things are going to happen.
Duh.
