Is this real life? (Re: Steve Blake)

Steve Blake's contract is not worth getting a late first round pick. This is stupidity.

I will say two things:
1. In the Lakers' win last night, Steve Blake was +23
2. We will be better with Blake, in the short term. Why? Because the reason teams are so up-and-down this season is because of the extreme compression and no time for practice. Also Blake will FOLLOW NATE'S GAME PLAN and give the fucking ball to Aldridge.

I can't be too sorry, because I was opposed to signing Crawford in the first place. But this certainly makes me dream longingly of the days of Trader Bob.

Oh boy, I'm excited with another draft pick in the 20's! We do tons with those!

Ha, it gets worse.

Hey, that's actually good news. Fisher is the Lakers' good mojo. If they trade him, it'll be seven years bad luck. Like when they let him go the last time.
Yes, he's not actually a good player any more (if he ever was) but his value is that he's a professional and he's a buffer between Kobe and everybody else. There's a reason (a) Chris Mullin once gave him a fat contract in free agency (b) he was the head of the Players' Union and (c) people actually groused when he got out of his Utah contract to go back to the Lakers - because he made the Lakers better.

I think instead of everybody being so relaxed about this rumor, we should all just freak the fuck out and go GRRR and I'm angry and I hate Nate McMillan!!!!!

This is like deja vu from last week.

Maybe Larry Miller is trying to get some old fire back in the team by adding Blake and Pryz to get nastier with attitude.

Fisher is palatable. He has an expiring contact, and can be bought out.

Nate has too much influence on roster management.

Steve Blake is a move for him.

Picking Smith over Faried was for him.

Oh, your still hoping for the playoffs?

If Fisher can gain us a few more lottery balls, I'm all for it.

He is the player I hate the most in the entire league. I'd rather us go 0-82 than have that piece of shit on the team. I dont give a fuck about the playoffs. Fisher is a bitch.

It'd be a half season rental. I can live with it.

If the lakers are getting rid of fisher and Blake, they are getting d will for sure

Trading for Blake and Fisher is like doubling down in blackjack when you only have a 2 & 3.

player option for 3.4, so effectively he's not expiring.

still lesser of 2 evils.
If Fish is involved in this, I'm nearly 100% certain that he'd want to be bought out, and that would be contingent on him not opting in.
