I’ll take your word for it
Overseas I'd guess unless he can try through the G league...Alan Crabbe was in the G league last season..it's going to be a popular destination...I could see him running Dame's basketball camp doing some Blazer associated job. What the league needs more of are good refs...that's what some end of the bench guys should consider getting into.Curious as to what Blevins will do going forward. He’s not going to be on our roster and he isn’t playing on any summer league roster. He’s just hanging out in Vegas with the guys. My guess is he’ll “find” a new role within the organization somehow.

Maybe he can join Errick McCollum in Turkey--try to recreate the Dame/CJ magic.Blevins is like a really good rec league player. I dont think he'd be able to hang in Europe or the g league either. I'm sure Dame can find him something else to do though.

Walker might be another Sam Perkins
1. Who cares
2. Snitch
I see Watford as a PF. But he does have a nice wing span at 7'2". I love the way he attacks the basket and loved seeing his two post-up moves on the baseline last night. I guess against 2nd team centers he would be ok, but if he could just improve more on his 3pt shooting he could be our version of Grant Williams next season.
Sam Perkins? That would be a high but not crazy ceiling … and saying that seems completely insane IMHO. Better than Samaki Walker? Yes, that is doable … even as pick 57! A 10-year, journeyman, role player in the NBA … a nice career. And Samaki’s son may make good money doing that … maybe MLE …
BUT if Jabari works … reaching the level of Sam Perkins? Jabari looks good so far. It’s Summer League.

Not a big fan of Winslow btw. He giv3s me flashbavks to the Aminu days where we always had this extrmely one dimensional players around Dame.
Such a weird comparison. Sam Perkins was incredibly different. Also was much much higher rated coming out of college.
Walker? It’s really early. Too early to get hopeful about a late, late 2nd rounder — the very essence of being a fan when training camp hasn’t even started.
HEY! Winslow is at LEAST two-dimensional.Not a big fan of Winslow btw. He giv3s me flashbavks to the Aminu days where we always had this extrmely one dimensional players around Dame.

Have you watched Keegan Murray play? "way more athletic" isn't what comes to mind to anyone.Murray appears to be way more athletic than Walker. At least according to the measurements

Agreed. From his college stats we knew he could rebound and shoot the 3 well. What I’m most surprised with is his ability to put the ball on the ground, and move his feet on defense. He’s also sneaky fast moving along that baseline to get position for the rebound.Jabari seems like a pretty good athlete anyway. He’s not crazy explosive but he can move laterally and seems to have a pretty decent handle for his size
Agreed. Also worth noting that when we draft second rounders, if you aren’t projects with high potential, you’re hoping you land a guy like Walker who already seems to be NBA ready with one skill, rebounding. Same thing with Trent, we drafted a guy that we knew had an NBA ready shot.A couple of thoughts.
In a way, have SS get hurt has been good for both Jabari and us fans. He has become the focal point. We are learning more about him and embracing him.
The second-round pick has been happily adopted by us fickle fans.
Similarly, if SS didn’t really stand out, we would likely have focused on his shortcomings rather than counting our Jabari windfall.
If SS had done well, fair chance we would be celebrating him and Jabari would likely not get either the attention nor the playing time.
I look forward to really learning more about SS in training camp & preseason but am happy as can be with what we are seeing of JW.
