I think its one of the few good things he has done. Our media is almost as corrupt as our government. Spreading fake news from both sides trying to push a biased narrative.

We absolutely need to put a stranglehold on media reports oppressing, dismissing, twisting or flat out changing facts in their articles to meet their view.

I dont disagree that media outlets have biased narratives. News is all about angle and perspective. News Stories are always told through a lens. It doesn't mean there isn't truth or the facts are completely changed. The truth is an easy thing to see.
 
What I think is one of biggest issues in Social media is the fact that so many people, manly trump supporters on my facebook, see a meme and just assume it is truth and post it like gospel. If trump tweets it they believe it. to many people refuse to fact check because they can't believe they are wrong. Just yesterday I had all kind of family members posting pictures of the buffalo head guy saying how he was a known antifa member and sharing the same meme. When in reality he is a leader from QAnon, but not matter how many facts you show them they won't beleive it because there dear leader or someone on Parlor shared a meme as him being antifa.

Before anyone attacks I don't have any democrat friends filling my feed with meme's all day. Just my family and friends on the right.

Okay. I promise to review this summers activities and posts. If i cant find anything ill happily eat crow. If i find posts backing my stance i fully expect some of you to backtrack and reevaluate what you are currently saying.

It's amusing how you say next to nothing about people breaking into the US capital building, your immediate response to all of it is to discuss summer protests. You can pretend like others to condemn both sides, but the hypocrisy shows when you don't ACTUALLY condemn both sides until called out on it. When your first instinct is to call out posters here for their views on what is transpiring/what transpired yesterday, and 'whatabout' it to their presumed stance over the summer.

Were you busy searching for Hunter Biden's hidden compound in the Ukraine or the Mayor of Portland's socialist agenda? I don't even think I remember you posting in any of 7 Blazer games threads.....I'd say your yuck, yuck passive aggressive slant on conservative loyalty has run it's course....I don't need to hear any response from people who didn't bother to respond to yesterday's tragedy with any walking back of their Trump narratives....troll away...when you actually have something to add...let us know. I don't personally know anyone that feels differently. I see some extreme left leaning people on social media that don't share my views but anyone I know in real life absolutely does align with my stance. None of us support the antics of the anarchist/antifa types. Specifically when talking about vandalising/violence/disruption (blocking freeways etc).

I try to stay out of the forum controversies as much as I can, if for no reason than there’s enough crazy shit going on in the world but........I’m sure @ABM is a nice enough guy and I’m sure we’d get along fine in a social setting, but his sole purpose on this forum seems to be to serve as the resident troll. He makes statements that are obviously intended to trigger other forum members, while providing absolutely no facts (true of otherwise) or pertinent information to back up his verbal diarrhea. And when he gets called out on it (a consistently regular occurrence) he makes a dismissive remark and acts too cool for school, like he’s above it all. I am all for valid and respectful debate but have no patience for those whose only purpose is to needle and annoy. If someone can’t (or won’t) provide mature and thoughtful dialogue then they need to keep their trap shut. Quit wasting our time. I genuinely (from the bottom of my heart) want to know what would make a human being support someone so blatantly flawed as Trump. I want to know how they believe that an individual like that is qualified to lead our country. All I’ve gotten so far is abortion, abortion, abortion. If someone is a one issue voter, then lay it on the table and then shut the fuck up. Quit trying to double down with smarmy, smart ass retorts. And I guess what pisses me off the most is that that individual provokes me to respond in kind. While he doesn’t appear to want to be better than that, I do.......and should be.

Now cue the “whatevs” smarmy response from a certain poster........

These are the people we’re dealing with. Wearing their work identification/badge while committing crimes. We probably shouldn’t expect much from them

We were hosting family for a week immediately following the Nashville bombing. I did comment in here on the bombing. Once we dropped them off at the airport, we immediately departed for Florida, where we are now. Sorry to disappoint. Feel free to place me on ignore status.

Social media is not the problem. that's just the venue, or ...*medium*, to convey thoughts and messages.

The underlying problem is education, lack of common sense, and misinformation. People are too fucking dumb these days to see what's real and what's not. It's what Tump and GOP have perfectly exploited over the past 10 yrs, beginning with the Birtherism bullshit. Seeing how positively morons reacted to that shit and the wall nonsense just made the party lean into even more.

It's why CNN's fact checking during debates, or other news networks cutting out from live action to stop reporting obvious lies is important.

Trump realized this was happening and started attacking the press even more explicitly.

Interesting. I definitely have as many democrat friends filling my feed with meme's all day as I have republican friends doing the same thing. Personally I don't know how they find the time to do it?

This is the part that makes no sense to me. At least Antifa is smart enough to wear masks. These morons are committing felonies in full view of all the cameras.

Ive said many times the right and patriot boys are as much of the problem as the exteeme left. Some people only choose to read what they dont agree with and focus on thst instead of the facts...


This is gonna be fun when i dig up a bunch of quotes where i say both sides are wrong and the crickets will commence without anyone saying they were incorrect of their assessment of this summer in here.
