Eh...bad wording. I don't mean he SHOULD get a tax cut, I mean he should be one of the people that get a tax cut under Obama's tax plan.
How do you know?
Why?
And why, if his business makes over $250k/year, should he pay more.
What is he paying for?
Not everyone is committed to taking things to ridiculous extremes. Obama is not a Libertarian, after all.
barfo
You wouldn't, I guess.
One difference: Obama has released his tax returns, so we know he's been paying taxes.
Obama made most of his money selling the books you haven't read, not via his government jobs.

The problem with Joe the Plumber, is that the Joe the Plumber that got debated was a caricature. The real Joe the Plumber is helped by Obama's tax plan, not hurt by it. Joe the Plumber would be taxed more under McCain than under Obama.
Heh.
Joe the Plumber has ya'll rattled. I wonder what is going on inside the Obama camp.
It should be a fun two and a half weeks...
He doesn't have a business that makes over $250k a year, so it's a mute point. The business he is talking about only makes about $100k a year, and he's not even in a position to buy that company.
Yes, very fearful here. I'm concerned that we might not get more than 400 electoral votes.

And under Obama's plan, its more advantageous for him to stay at 40k a year. The wealth will be redistributed to him, instead of him having to take a chance to start a small business.
I don't follow. I think it would be more advantageous for him to be making $250k a year instead of $40k a year, but that's just me.
LOL
His own book is "vetting" him? LMAO
Hey, I think I'm great. I'm vetted!
No. It's not vetting. But you can still learn a lot more about him than you know about Joe Plumber by reading them.
Have you read the books?
No.
I haven't read any McCain books either, if they exist.
Still, I have to wonder about a guy who has written two books about himself, at least one before he became a US Senator.
And I still don't think he wrote Dreams of My Father on his own.
Yes, very fearful here. I'm concerned that we might not get more than 400 electoral votes.

Risk/reward ratio. There is inherent risk in starting a small business. If the risk/reward ratio is increased, then the potential small business owner leans towards staying in mediocrity.
You haven't read the book, but you have an opinion on who wrote it?
McCain, fyi, has "written" several books, except they were all written by Mark Salter, and they don't sound anything like McCain.
Obama's books sound like Obama.

Not really, but your mind is made up, and I don't care to do the research that is readily available for you.
So instead, keep smearing Joe the Plumber and keep clinging to your false polls.
People don't understand this. My dad was fortunate to sell his stake in his "small business" when it became evident that it could only sustain a single owner.
Of course not, not everyone is entrepreneurial and are perfectly happy being mediocre, living paycheck to paycheck and mooching off the success of others.
That is why socialism may become popular through an Obama administration. If he is able to placate the masses, it may just become the economic system in the United States.
Things are changing.
You do realize we're just going back to Clinton taxes?
So, the question is, do I work harder to try and make more $$$, or do I work less, post more, and hope to be given money from people working harder than I am?
I agree, and it seems that I am outnumbered handily by people with ample time to spend on the internet.
So, the question is, do I work harder to try and make more $$$, or do I work less, post more, and hope to be given money from people working harder than I am?
I see a correlation here.
Um, OK, those policies failed once the tech bubble crashed.
Raising taxes right now is stupid. Even Obama admits it.
Obama: Recession Could Delay End to Bush Tax Cuts
Even Obama admits his policies would harm the economy.
Obama says in that link that he is going through with his tax cuts.
I think Obama has pretty consistently made the stand that we are at a point on the Laffer curve where increasing taxes will increase tax revenue.
I don't think there is a correlation. I spend an inordinate amount of time online, but then again, I do a lot of business online so 1/2 my day is spent emailing people. I even work at home when I'm online.
Just work smarter. I'm trying to figure out ways to sheild the effects of the upcoming and current socialism wave.
Nah, I think I'll just sit around, wait for the socialism to give me a check, and then have no one to complain to when even that doesn't provide for me.
